If you are in a 4-way and are low enough that you feel the need to turn 180 and dump NOW, then that is sufficient enough to get everyone's attention. If you feel that turning 180 and dumping immediately is your best option, that would assume you are DANGEROUSLY low. If you feel as though you have time to track off, that would assume you are just lower than normal and a wave off to the others would be warranted.

Yeah she said she made a mistake, but I don't think she really admitted she was showboating. Only that she screwed up the last jump. He totally gave her the perfect opportunity to say, "Ya know, I was amped and thought I would pull a sweet method air, but I messed it up."

Dude! That 19 year old blonde and that cute redhead! Yes, the Russians are certainly fun to watch! I have watched more curling than anything else. And the Johnson sisters.....mmmmmmm!

I'll be the first one to admit I make a jackass out of myself often enough. But I certainly did it much more at 20!

The biggest difference between doing it when you are 30 or doing it when you are 20 is when you are 20, you say you weren't trying to show off, and when you are 30, you just get up and say, "Yup, I'm a jackass!" It's too bad she just can't admit it. It is pretty obvious when you watch it that she was trying to show off and it bit her in the ass.

Well, I am 32 and still make a jackass out of my self like that at times. Just not as much as I did when I was 20.

Lindsey Jacobellis was SO far out in the lead in the gold medal snowboard cross race with only one jump left and did a showboat trick and wiped out! No gold for you! Reminds me of so many times I said, "Check me out!" only to make a jackass of myself! Only I was never in an Olympic gold medal race!

Short answer- No, there would be no SIGNIFICANT change. There may be a few modifications to make as far as snag points, but that's about it. There are plenty of ski helmets out there that would work just as well as skydiving ones. Probably offer alot more protection in most cases too. Skydiving helmets are WAY overpriced for what they offer for protection.
