Maybe so, but this expectation wasn't something I made up. They portrayed this movie as such and hyped it up to be one of the most dramatic films of our time. The expectations were set by them. On top of that, they convieniently released that "real" documentary about him right before the movie came out to produce even more hype. That was the cheesiest thing I have seen. The limos with the black windows, the crow landing by him during an interview, the hush hush of the actors....jeesh. Give me a break! Way over the top. I would say they certainly wanted you yo have HUGE expectations when you went to buy your ticket. To do all that in order to sell tickets and then not deliver, that is why I am disappointed.

Philly airport for sure. Are you flying in?? I doubt anything will be happening on Friday night. I don't have the room for that night, just Saturday. I will probably be going right by the Philly airport early Saturday morning if someone needs a ride at that time.

I thought it was a pretty big let down after all the hype. Plus the thing that really didn't make sense was if the adults were all in on it, why would they run the risk of sending the blind girl? Why not just one of them go into town? So big deal, they took an oath. And what would the chances really be for her to get to the gate, get the medicine, and get back without blowing their cover? It worked out a little too well for my taste.

Oh and another funny fact. Our band was named "Biscuit" after Chuck Biscuits, the original drummer for Danzig. (as well as for some of the most influential punk rock bands of the time)

Samhain is ok. I know that most "real" Glenn fans would disagree, but Samhain never worked for me. I find them to be just what they are; a transitional band somewhere between the Misfits and Danzig. I don't really feel like Samhain ever had a real identity, unlike The Misfits and Danzig who both a very pronounced identity. Just my opinion. But you asked, I guess.

I didn't get that at all from the original post. Sid specifically named who he had a crush on, and then asked who anyone else had a crush on. Sounds to me like we were supposed to name them.

Not necessarily. Danzig and The Misfits are quite different music styles. But chances are, if you are into more diverse stuff, you will dig The Misfits. They might have to grow on ya.

Definitely the best with Glenn. But I did like some of the stuff they did on American Psycho with Michael Graves.
