    To keep their grape from getting bunged up. Or more specifically... People will kick you in RW. You might screw up an exit and planes are made of hard stuff. You might screw up a landing and the ground is hard. Theyre good for holding audible alti's. They keep your hair out of knots. Full face helmets keep your face warm in cold weather, and they help deter premature aging. You can put stickers on them. They look cool.

    Ok, I will question authority. The next time I get pulled over and the officer says that he just changed the speed limit on that street and I was speeding, I'll question him/her. Or if an unmarked police car tries to pull me over, I'll call the police and tell them where I am and that they'd better send a marked police car if they want me to pull over. Girls get raped and murdered that way. (and if that wasnt a thread killer... )

    Thats why you are not supposed to get caught! You think I drove 70 on the Interstate in Texas? Or anywhere for that matter... ? Fact is that if you want the priviledge of a drivers license, you have to obey the law or pay the fines when you get caught breaking it. They cant modify the laws to say.. oh yeah well he was speeding but it was 2am and there werent any other cars on the road, and hes got z-rated tires and abs brakes, so he can go 90 if he wants. I grew up in Texas, and have encountered many DPS officers. I can refute your statement that they are all pricks. Of course, I was never a pain in the ass to them. Chill... you really cant compare speeding tickets to Hitler, genocide, and homosexuality.

    Doesnt matter how "safe" your tires and brakes are. You still broke the law. (guess who recently went to defensive driving?) Oh, and 18 Wheelers, if they decided to have a mind of their own, could rise up in a hostile takeover and squish us all like bugs. EEEEEAASSY NOW! I might be a prick as well if I had to deal with your attitude 10 times a day. Might want to check yourself.

    Idea: Pick a night SOON where you can be alone.. get some wine, or eggnog and cookies.. whatever.. cuddle up and read The Gift of the Magi out loud to each other. I have a feeling this will put your situation in to perspective and any hard feelings will be washed away. (and this might also be a lesson to not post personal issues on this forum, because you will get waaaaay too much advice..)

    Thats what jewelry boxes are for... and she may not want to wear it every day. Just special occasions like.. Christmas, Easter, birthdays, school dances, church..etc.. Its nice to have something pretty for dress-up occasions.

Does she have a diamond necklace? Age 10 is perfect to get her a little diamond on a chain. My grandparents gave me one when I was 10, and then replaced it with a little bit of a larger stone when I was 16. I wear it, I love it, and I'll keep it forever.

    I have screws in my cheekbones from jaw surgery, but that had nothing to do with skydiving. Dont see it holding me back much. Good grief, theres a lot of us falling apart!!
