'Freedom of expression, subject to reasonable limits', is the wording in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. IMO, if any State can't, or doesn't want, to assert reasonable limits....they've accepted the inevitable consequences of fostering 'absolutism'....... in the name of protecting 'freedom'. In actuality, these States are unleashing the very forces posing the biggest threat to that cherished ideal.
