    How did we find out Sony was so good for jumping? I've had a little bit of experience with Samsung Digi stills cameras and the quality seems very good. Although I have not jumped with them. Who will take the chance? Worst case is you loose a couple hundred bucks and sell second hand to a non jumper. -Then you by a Sony Stay Cool http://www.waycool.com.au

    The Statement on Our web site refers to our Red Eye lens only. It works to some extent with our Red Eye lens. It gives a wider field of view with that lens. I haven't tested the idea with other lenses though I think it would work. The design of that very wide single element lens is such that the image almost overlaps into the lens housing ie. black corners. We are very soon to release a very wide lens which will be wider than the Red Eye and very small as well. Stay Cool http://www.waycool.com.au

    If you really don't have a connection method you can do it with a light sensitive cell in a circuit with a power transistor to amplify the output to your remote LED. If you [/email] me I'll send you a circuit of this that worked well for me on an early camera helmet of mine from a few years ago. You will need a few dollars in parts a soldering iron and some basic electrical knowledge. The only thing is for this to work you need to have the photo electric sensor lined up well and close to the record LED.
