hate to say it...but i had a christmas gift get "lost" a few years ago...again tracking said it had arrived to my towns post office....i talk to them numerous times, they looked onto their system showing that t hey had recieved it, but not yet delivered it....that package was never seen.....luckey for me the company sent me another shipment...but wasnt something as expensive as a parachute... ok close to you...there is Skys The Limit in PA which is i think the closest year round dz to you....now as far as FL....4 DZ's and a windtunnel no more then 1.5 hours driving from Orlando...Deland and windtunnel are right there..Lake Whales, Sebastion and Z-hills all driving distance. ive had 2 funny ones that come to mind.. 1) while briefing a tandem group, I was to be the videographer for one person, and the other person was also getting video, so the lady who im NOT going with asks me "So, we are on the same plane, and your gona film us both right?" rsponce "No mame, gravity will not allow me to leave the airplane with your daughter film her skydive till they open and come back up to the plane to film your skydive." 2. In Yuma AZ after a day of training a guy asks me "So if you open your parachute and you realize that the wind is pushing you back to far away from your landing area, can you pull your parachute back in, go back into freefall till you get closer to the ground therefor eleminating the wind and have a better chance at landing in your area?" Ok, first off looking at your avatar, I would say looks like you only have a still on that helmet, and wit hthat helmet type a flash would be almost impossible. I agree with what some people are saying but also disagree with others.... I have been doing video and stills primarally for 5 years....8-10 jumps, like others said...get proficient with the video first....unless you plan to be still only, for the art not for work...then same rule applies, get used to wearing the still, deploying with it, flyign on many axis wit hit, cause any videographer will tell you, you fly alot diffrently weather it be on your belly, back or head when you have thtat big rutter on your head. Next reason, a still camera is the heaviest thing you can put on your head....this is where i disagree with others...a flash is VERY light in comparison to a still camera, video camera or even the helmets made specifically for mounting them. Which bringe me to the mounting aspect...there are many diffrent ways for many diffrent helmets, i will only tell you mine and why i choose it. I jump a BH Flat Top Pro...most real estate you can find for mounting until you get into custom build helmets. I have my video (TRV-33...yeah an oldie but goodie) and Cannon Dig Rebel XTI both mounted on top side by side....yes the BH FTP does come with a camera L bracket in front for camera mounting, but i have found that the camera mounted up top acts less like a rutter then it does in front, also I like to have the majority of the weight on my head centerd on my head....reduces the neck snapping factor come deployment time. Next I mount my Cannon 550EX Speedlight to the front (previeously mentioned camers mount) with a camera off shoe cord...attaching it is jujst a matter of a few velcro straps, like i said before it is VERY light anddosent need much securing. But then again its your investment, protect it as you will. I know i rambled on alot, but ive been up all night so im tired and bored...hope you get the answers you need. Me personally, im not crediting his win Solely to this fact, nor am i saying people didnt vote for MaCain for the very same reason, I was just stating that it clearly played a factor in his win. I grew up in the getto, in the projects, I grew up not having a single white friend, all my friends were black, and you know what the mentallity was in my community, survival, whats the best way to survive in a community like that, get one of your own in charge. No, it's about party affiliation for more than 40 years. i see your point with demo to rep votes...but tell me this, your chart showed that 88% of blacks voted for Obama, now lets say thats 88% of 2 million people...numbers may be off but bare with me... Now take that same 88% voted Rep (Bush) last election...but it was prolly only like 1 million that voted. I wasnt talking percentages, i was talking numbers, and like i pointed out before, Obama said it himself, people came out n record numbers to vote....meaning MORE people, people who havent cared in the past to vote because there wasnt a black president. Im not saying that ALL people voted fo rthis reson, yes some paid attention to the issues, some didnt want Palin in the White house.....but at least 30% of his votes...was for race...imo "Professor of Pimpology"~~~Bolas

I think its typical how it turned out, Obamaeven said it in his speech, that alot of voters came out to vote for the first time..... Obama won because of his color, not his views. Is it not surprising that if you look at the states and who they voted for that this election was about race. Prodomitnatly ethnic states and states with less race problems Obama won (IE, Cali, FL, the North, the Union) Other states that most would consider Redneck, or...the confederate states...most have race problems....MaCain won....the whole south... Obama won bacause the entire black population came out and votes for him and other ethnic groups who actually followed the canidates, some voted for him.....thats where u get your 2-1 win But also look at it the other way....i dont rule out that the entire white supremist community voted for MaCain....but i tfeel that the two groups are a bit off set in numbers. Funny that you mention this, but times have changed and new security mesures implimented since JFK....and I have first hand knowledge of this.. In May I was on a parachute demonstration at Fort Bragg, where Pres Bush was the guest speaker. My team was to jump in front of him. After the jump I was to present a wooden Baton to Pres Bush. Now the preperation for this event were extravagent. SS was there the week prior, going over security issues with MPs, determining routes for the Pres. My team since we were to be air inserted into the secure area of the Pres, we were insepcted prior to boarding the aircraft by EOD and also had a SS member on the chopper with us. NOT to mention that even though the public was allowed to attend there were metal detectors, dogs sniffing people out and no cars in or out for a 8 block radious...SO..no longer can u be an amature with a hunting rifel expecting a get a good shot.
