  1. If anybody's arriving on the 27th December on the last flight from Stansted and want to share a taxi send us a PM as I think it's too late to catch the last train.. Cheers
  2. Not sure, but would be interested to know the results if anybody has ever compared the two? Or with other similar 0.45's.. Dave
  3. I've just got the .45 blue eye from waycool. Can't comment on it yet as haven't jumped it but the profile is very small. They have good customer service and it arrived in about 7 days
  4. $30 to 12k at my local in UK. To 13k, who knows?
  5. keep with the group even though their legs are real wide and looks like they are doing a track in the head down position? I thought it was legs wider to go slower, legs closer to go faster. it's just been bugging me for a while.
  6. You could add the tear drop container/harness. Not very common in the states but still pretty good http://www.thomas-sports.com/ Dave
  7. I just got an FF2 and am really happy with it. It has a really nice fit and the box is pretty damn snag proof. You can also get a wicked cut away system with it based on the 3 ring circus. Camera is easily accessible. Only point, as Chivo said , pretty pricey..
  8. seeing that you haven't got many jumps first of all talk with the DZO or your instructor about landing patterns and such. If you see your self going way past your "ideal" landing area you can always do "S" turns to slow your horizontal distance and then set up for you landing. 1st rule though, don't "S" turn low and any landing even if past your "ideal spot" is a good landing
  9. Hi there Trying to search for 0.6 in the search engine regarding lenses and it always returns a "cannot find....." I do know that there are some posts including 0.6 or .6 in them (haven't got a link a handy, sorry) Don't know if the search is just using char or not. Cheers and thanks Dave
  10. From what I can see you can tilt the bracket a little, maybe something like 6mm upwards from a fully "horizontal position". Yep, the cutaway chin cup comes separate but it is pretty easy to attach once you've adjusted it for your chin, just need an Allen key. The excess rachet strap you have to cut down to size after fitting it
  11. No I didn't get the Cameye as I was trying to cut down the ££'s! (the cutaway system cost another £65) I'm not too bothered by just reaching behind and switching it on myself as I will be just fun jumping with it and not doing any chargable filming for the forseeable future. Helmet fits snug and comfortably, will tell you more when I've jumped it!
  12. Just got my new FF2 and though I'd share it all with you
  13. Excuse my ignorance but I have just bought a 101 and am waiting for my helmet to arrive to jump it. My question is : I'm off to the Espace boogie soon and was just wondering if it really necessary to buy a wide angle lens beforehand if I will be only doing fun jumps (freefly) with friends. We've all got good proximity in the air and can easily dock. I only ask because I have done a few jumps with Babylon in Spain and Wolf, the instructor, didn't use one, granted, he is shit hot though.. Cheers Dave
  14. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/i=wMTE0ODIxNnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg clicky ...or maybe not, first time doing clicky's. and yes beer's on the way...
  15. Have just ordered an FF2. Was talking to the guy about the cutaway system and he said that he is just waiting for the delivery of the rings before putting them on. Seeing that the helmet wil take about 5 weeks to come through he was pretty confident that he would have the rings before then. (Let's hope anyway
