  1. As a college student it is going to be a few months before I can save up enough money for my own gear, and while I plan on using rental gear till at least 60-100 jumps, looking at used containers how important is the fit? It is hard finding one that will fit a 190 sqft canopy for someone who is 5'3" and 150-160 ponds. I am working on losing some of the weight, but in a realistic world, it will probably take a while as it seems with every two steps forward I make, I end up taking one backwards.
  2. Awesome man. I did most of my AFF jumps at Zhills and go back every year, it's a great spot. Just don't let those damn fire ants ruin your day . Oh yeah and tent city is more fun this year than any other year I can remember, which is t saying much cause I don't tend to remember much there after 6 PM in years past. Unfortunately I have not gotten to see the DZ after sunset yet, though I have heard a couple of stories.
  3. Hey, I am a student at Zhills. I did my ground school back in November and have been hooked since. I did fail my first attempt at the C2 jump, but thanks to the advice of my instructor, I got some tunnel time and it has made the next 3 jumps so much easier to handle. I am looking forward to my E1-E3 jumps and the coaching jumps that follow. Aside from skydiving I enjoy SCUBA diving and reading. Currently I am rereading the Hitchhiker's Guide series and It.
