your getting WAY to far technical with this mike. do you know what the power band feels like? do you know what happens if you go to far into it? not far enough? and to far to the extreme of catostophic? if you dont know what im talking about then dont worry about that question. a longer recovery arc for me, i would get in the rears at about the same time as before, maybe a tad earlier, depending on my setup. but it is all constant adjustments and trimming, there is no "set" time for anything. you find what works and try to recreate it. that is the hard part.

hey, i watch and listen! i know basically what swooping is. at least i've seen a few people do it. though i don't know what the point is...maybe you could inform me. because we want to be the "cool"kids.! naaa, just because i get what i want out of swooping. like some peeps get it out of taking folks on tandams, or doing aff's, or doing CRW, or doing RW or VRW. the list goes on and on. there are many aspects to skydiving. and im looking forward into being one of the one's who teach you some of these.

I know this to be true but how much of a difference are we talking about? I mean significant enough to justify buying new risers or not? Absolutely. Four additional inches made my Velo fly like a completely different canopy. what about openings, when you add 4 inches to the risers does the slider tend to stay up longer, does your Velocity "seek" more and open off heading more? someone said this is one of the effects of a longer lineset on any canopy can't remember who it was... rm speed the opening up a little and it wont seek as much. but i have no idea if longer lines make it seek more. i wouldnt think so though.
