carfax works. but not all damage has to be reported. but most major stuff will show up, but that doesn't mean it will. all in all, it is a great tool. your better off using it as that and screening out the ones you don't want. the ones you do, take to a trusted "MASTER" technician and have them look it over with there own eyes. a trained eye can catch just about anything.

whatever. i'm glad you feel you need to point that out to everyone. there are moderator's for that sort of thing. it isn't your decision what is and what isn't advertising. it is an event he is posting, and since it is directly pointed at canopy skills I think the right place for it is here instead of the events forum. maybe they just shouldn't tell anyone that they are teaching a camp to help with others skills. -
knock on wood, I havent biffed in. well, I had a slightly hard landing at 750 jumps that scared me, but thats it. I just see it happen around that many jump numbers all too often.

I am not a dealer, but you can now get them through me. Just because I have jumped one and I now compete with it, I also paid for it, and I am a 100% believer in it. They have given me permission to take orders to who I see fit for one. I'm also getting ready to buy my JVX 2.0

the way it was last year is you could go out of region if you committed yourself to that region. if you did go out of your "declared" region, you were considered a guest. I think this is the way it is this year also, but if you don't like that, or anyone else doesn't like that, I would suggest you talk with Jim as soon as possible. nothing as of yet is set in stone.

not good for that, but good for pleanty of other things. I'm one of those many saying it isn't a good stepping stone for swooping, but if that isn't your goal, It has some great performance characteristics. but there are a few things you trade off for that also. It is a great canopy for "beer line swooping". not competition.

I would also like to see this extended a little further, lets say to 750 jumps. 750 is the danger area, from my experience. extend it, with it going a seize or so below the current 120 sq ft. say to something like 107-110 being the minimum. but nice work, we have posted at manifest already, it makes it easy to just point.

the one custom rig I bought through mike, a mirage g4, mesured by him, was the best fitting rig I have ever owned/still own. same for all my jumpsuits.

stu, like I said on canopypiloting.com he has a new, more protective type pants he is working on. mine is being made this week, and from what I understand it is the prototype. I told him what I wanted and needed, so he looked around for a few weeks or so and found this rubber type material. I should have them in the next few weeks or so, I will post pics and let you know what I think. the pants that im speaking of are not on the website yet, but if you contact him, im sure he would be happy to discuss what he is making to you.
