    this thread is amusing me. the only bickering I saw was the bickering about peeps bickering. never actually saw any bickering about JC going to P.D.

    I know what you meant. PD snatches up all the top pilots and they fly Velocitys because they are paid to do so. So Velocitys win all the major swoop comps and people assume it is the best canopy. This makes it harder for smaller companies (ie. Daedelus) to innovate because they have trouble making back the money spent on R&D. Even if they come up with a better performing canopy people end up buying the Velocity due to the flawed logic above. you said it, not me.

    is it the 750 hma stuff. or the smaller ones. I wouldnt want that 750 hma on my canopy. If it opens hard the lines wont streatch or break. you just break your back instead.

    I keep up with my stuff. these lines are likely to last 800 jumps. but those canopies don't have that many jumps on them yet. they were relined in late aug. or sept. last year.

    ryan, they don't have 700 jumps on those linesets either.
