since you actually dont know me (but for a breif time) and just listen to what others say, then yes.

explain this. the way im thinking it is that if your lines reach up and your pulling the surface area of the canopy against the flow of air across the bottom skin, i would think it most certainly could. but if your just hanging there in a harness without no outside force then that would be correct... but maybe im wrong, please explain a little.. ok i see, it could only have half your body weight. but if you put half your body weight on those risers, did it actually deflect the tail.????

have you ever tried to land a manta 280, or similar canopy on rears.... some of those student canopies are VERY hard to pull down the rears or fronts for that matter.

because they are newer in the sport and dont quite have the confidence yet, and or they dont know exactly how, and or they didnt even know it was possible.

i would land on rears, because i know i can. even on a very high performance canopy. but if i didnt know i could i would chop it.. and i have before, when i still had less than 300 jumps.

im going to guess line twist's. or even possibly a tension knot. orr in worse case, a bag lock. -
lol.... im glad for that.. also thank god im none of those. well a couple might be hobbies... do you think you could get an engineering degree not knowing how to spell? bet your ass you can.... if you can build, and create what you engineer, yes you probably would be fine. but the question is, if you never had been able to go get the degree, could you still do it? sorry im a bit defensive, my spelling sucks, not because i can't, just because it makes no sense to me. kinda like useless information.

and in return, reduces performance. at least this seems to be the case for the x mod on the vx.. it does make the openings better, and riser pressure better though.. if you want a performance canopy with good opening cherecteristics and performance, by all means, the x mod is great. if you want TOP performance, get a vx. or a velo. and it looks like the jvx is goin to rip some shit up too!

correct. because we all know, idiots cant spell. and if you cant spell, your an idiot. you will miss out on alot in this world with that attitude. do you think you would survive if there all of a sudden no stores? no money? what would you do? could you make it? would you be able to feed yourself? would you be able trade what your skills are for other trades or goods? there would be a whole other class of "idiots" then.
