  1. I am offended though, by Quade's continued ignorant usage of the Franklin Rattlesnake.
  2. I'm sure the Blacks and Jews who fought in the Revolution would be quite offended. I'm not offended... I just think he is ignorant.
  3. The Words of a True Leader: George Washington Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness – these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked, "where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice?" And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. I am so tired of hearing about Reagan... he's still a raging (Hollywood) progressive in my book. He was no Washington... Conservatism = Federalism principles + Christian beliefs forced on everyone else. Bullshit. Correct... Christian values... not beliefs. Values. Correct... God, not Religion. Or more specifically... the "religion of America." And its not, Christianity. I love how many on this board have spoken about how "God" is not in the Constitution... while you then have Ginsburg saying she would not look to the US Constitution if drafting a new government... ...she would look to the S. African Constitution. Yet, that Constitution, DOES directly recognize God. That's about as dumb as Pelosi saying you have to have healthcare to pursue happiness...
  4. ...says the man who can't stay on topic.
  5. Like talking to a wall... Pathetic comparison... and shameful ending statement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emO2x5WBkwE 2:02 - 2:42 is great! Again... a wall. So, you think there is more corruption and abuse at the local level, than at the federal level? For airing on the side of freedom and the Constitution... that's quite contradictory to the ideas of those who gave us the Republic.
  6. What about "weaving"...? http://www.theblaze.com/stories/startrek-fans-questionable-traffic-stops-raises-concerns-over-constitutional-rights/ And I like how at the very end it says... "Although the roadside incident involving Huff occurred on Dec. 4, 2011, Reichert appears to have a history dating back several years of questionable police work." http://www.stltoday.com/suburban-journals/illinois/news/crime/new-hearing-planned-in-officer-s-legal-battle/article_c6fda5b4-c8c5-51f6-ba20-6c786c48cbef.html?mode=story Yes, there are cops who break the law... there ARE douche bags out there. But there are also amazing officers who are true public servants, who do the right things and have honor. And after 4 years in an ER, I have gotten to know many of them. My father was also a SWAT Medic for many years... interesting to hear officers true feelings on the drug war. But again, clearly seen from this thread, the only disapproval of this law, come from the "potential abuse", based on a foundation that all AZ cops are racist, and will be out on the hunt for any Hispanic they can find and, check up on. Its Crap! And again... aside from, Illegal Aliens, who are breaking the law like drinking and driving, while illegally driving, while illegally in the country... I am not concerned with those coming here to work (and that aspect is the easiest part of this problem to solve, and IT IS NOT with amnesty). I am concerned about those coming across our border who are involved with the cartels, Hezbollah (AND Hamas), and/or the Muslim Brotherhood. The Federal Government is breaking the contract, The Constitution, so the states will pick up the slack until we can get a president who will do the job. I could care less if Obama has deported 100 times as many Illegal Aliens as Bush... Not only do they come right back across, but I'm done playing that D vs R game that so many of you on this forum are engulfed in and unable to wake up from (By Design). Shall we stop comparing party presidents to other party presidents and start comparing our leaders to George Washington. Now... for the example: So it was a lawful contact because the car had no tags (ironic since he is an automobile executive - probably should have noticed that when he walked the car looking for damage, as you are supposed to do before leaving the lot)... but he did have a form of ID which corroborates his story (I can't help but assume he told the officer his business matters)... and you then have an officer who arrests him instead of taking him to the hotel and getting the passport. Sounds like an officer who needs a reprimand... And a German, who was breaking Federal Law by not having his passport on him. And Think Progress states that he didn't even have his German Driver's License on him. Ummm... Dumbass? So, technically, both parties are in fault... and, we are clearly seeing incompetent Alabama police officers given this example: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/dec/02/alabama-car-boss-immigration-law If correct... "Yada was stopped in Leeds, Alabama, at a checkpoint set up by police to catch unlicenced drivers. He was ticketed on the spot, despite the fact that he showed an international driver's licence, a valid passport and a US work permit." ... Umm, why was he arrested? What was he ticketed for? Given my personal FL example... that is ridiculous. As a citizen, I am not required to carry any ID on me if I walk down the street to get some ice cream. But I am required to have my driver's license if I drive... but even so, with my name (and state), any officer in any state can look you up and match you to your description. That too is crap... law abiding citizens are are not going to be locked up, and to date, there has not been any incident showing that... cause if there was, you would have already posted it. And if its a lawful contact... an officer has every right to ask for identification.
  7. If Only! If Only! As long as McCain and Boner are gone... Progressive R's are no different than Progressive D's. Obama = Road to Serfdom. McCain = Slightly longer Road to Serfdom. And both want the borders open.
  8. You don't...? Cause I do... But I just sigh in disgust about 99% percent of the time he speaks. All Laws, always, face abuse... and that is exactly the purpose of our structure, the Constitution... to bind the hands of power, and do the best job to prevent abuse, and if not, fixed laws as best as possible to prevent abuse... associated with Human Nature. And to appropriately punish abuse you can't prevent. See... our nation was built on the idea that the American people are a people of Merit... That we are a good and decent people... and will do our best to right wrongs and learn from our mistakes. Read Washington... he clearly states that he has full faith in the American people and that even though they will make mistakes... they will always eventually get it right... IF TOLD THE TRUTH. Something our leaders are not doing. Crap... its mirror on Federal Law, It will be upheld. I didn't say it was a nice encounter... those cops were douche bags! I'm a citizen... had no warrants... and trespassing was not posted... I know my rights... So I could care less if he wanted to waste his time. No... I've read Publius... fully aware.
  9. Indeed... LOL. After reading 5 of your posts... I saw the green, again. Woops
  10. Just say it, Quade... all the AZ cops are racist and they have nothing better to do, and all they WANT to do, is send all the "wetbacks" packing. That's where it always comes to. Your example is not a lawful contact. This law mirrors federal law, and it will be upheld. And... I'm not actually concerned about Hispanics here for work (who aren't driving drunk or breaking some other law that initiates a lawful contact.) I'm concerned about all the Arabs getting across our border, and the fact that Hezbollah is working on our border.
  11. Absolute Crap. So using the Presidents example... eating ice cream with your kid. What is the legal justification for a cop to walk up to a Hispanic citizen and ask for ID?
  12. Nope... you, are incorrect. Seriously people... is it not known how incredibly easy it is to prove citizenship? About two years ago, I was down in FL visiting a friend. He and another buddy had alcohol on them, I wasn't drinking... and we walked from his house, about half a mile away to a shoreline on a river, that was technically private property (but still in his same neighborhood), however the sidewalk 10 feet from that shore line, was not... After an incident way down the street that we saw, that we did not want to be involved in... cops arrived, after the fact (it was not a fight)... a cop drove past and happened to see us. Stopped, and then two others came and they asked what we were doing, stated that it was private property and we stated where my friend lived... they separated use, questioned us, and they asked for ID. NONE OF US... had "our papers." Names and socials... and I told them I was out of state. They checked us all... cleared us all... and left. And even though we were not apart of the incident, they had every right to do what they did... And if any one of us had a warrant for arrest, for any reason... they would have 100% made an arrest. Totally Legal.
  13. You should actually "Read The Bill" more and listen to Obama less... Period.
  14. Is walking up to a citizen eating ice cream with his son... and asking for identification, a lawful contact? Edit: citizen ---> individual
  15. My thoughts exactly... Psst... you forgot, [on topic] All of my upcoming posts with have it...
  16. State government could charge a filling fee for the contracts.
  17. I had an English teacher who used to say, when people asked stupid questions... Reading is Fundamental. Yes... and so is listening. I guess your post makes sense, in taking the statement out of context.
  18. Within Our Republic... The role of government, is to Regulate = to maintain/keep regular, the Law = Original Intent. Whether state or federal, the government should have absolutely no role in defining marriage, issuing licensure, or overseeing (whether religious or “civil”) ceremony in any degree. The role of the government is to uphold and protect, contracts, and the Rule of Law. In taking government out of marriage... you would then have “Intimate Partnership” contracts (or whatever name is given to a contract that legally binds TWO individuals, in the same way marriage does). This would eliminate all of the current issues, and would abide by the Constitution. (This is not S of C and S) Because you can’t change the Marriage Equation, based on YOUR morals... I reluctantly post this video, due to the bigotry of many ...who fail to judge by the content of character... but he does explain it the best. Santorum did a poor job. The (Gay) Marriage Equation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGZVfm8r1dM Bolas is spot on... What about polygamy? What about bi-sexuality? What if someone likes this today, and that tomorrow... why can’t someone marry a man and a woman? Why can't three consenting adults marry? Why can’t someone marry a giraffe? Quagmire did on the recent Tea Party episode. Which is interesting... because in the beginning they stated the platform of the Tea Party is low taxes and Limited Government... All True. But then they go into every Tea Party stereotype, including disbanding the local government... calling for, No Government! (Peter and others bash a guy holding a sign that says "a little bit of government") Limited Government does not equally No Government. Nor is the true argument, Big vs Small... it is Big vs Limited. It is the scope of influence. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4058065#4058065 Low taxes, responsible spending, Limited Government... and Follow the Constitution, the Tea Party platform, does not equal No Government. Very funny episode though! And no, I am not a Tea Party member.
  19. Ey Ya, Canada... We'll take ya oil sands, but you can keep ya government. We don't want it. We need to Restore and actually live under what we have, before we, "fundamentally transform the United States of America." Why do you even care so much a-boot the system of healthcare we have here? I don't see how it affects you if you live in Canada. So ah, How about we get back to Gay Marriage... and stay [on topic]. Bolas is the only person here on point... its just a tad incomplete. But he is totally right. This argument is so asinine ...D vs R... Ugh, how about the Constitution?! If the gay community changed their argument, they would already have been successful long ago.
  20. Come on now... does this not remind you of President Obama? Enchilada
  21. The National Park System is pretty damn awesome. Og er ikke i Grunnloven
  22. That's it...? That's the extent of the ridicule? Wow... pretty sad. Y'all are really lettin' me down! Shall we look at some... American, Useful Idiots? “I'm like, Che Guevara with bling on, I'm complex” ... Ooooh, really, Jay-Z? That’s interesting... considering (from Che’s own diaries): “The Negro is indolent and lazy, and spends his money on frivolities” - Che Or, Carlos Santana... wearing a Che t-shirt at the 2005 Oscars. Showing off an image of a regime, that made it a criminal offense, to listen to Carlos Santana music... Yup, Makes Perfect Sense! But no, no, no, don’t pay any attention to that. Just think about Giselle. (Attached) Ah yes... lovely Giselle. Pay no attention to what is on the bikini she is wearing... just imagine it on the floor and she in your bed... Mmm, Giselle. Giggity Giggity, Giggity Goo... damn I wanna fuck you! So, I went into work one night... and spoke with Dr. P, an amazing Emergency Physician, who is in his lower 60’s-ish. A Cuban immigrant and a literal, Renaissance Man. I hope by his age, I am half the man he is... “Hey Dr. P! Do you mind if I do a little word association with you? Just say the first thing that comes to mind.” With a puzzled look, he replied, “Ok...” Che Guevara ... “MURDERER!!” he sharply replied. “Thanks Dr. P!” Oh yes... It's a free country. But, why would you want to wear a Che t-shirt...? Because you're an idiot, who doesn't know history. Shit... why not wear a Mao t-shirt. Free country! Because, most people, don't believe that power comes out of the barrel of a gun. Oh, but Che did! Seriously... its too easy. Way Too Easy. Did you, happen to catch what they were chanting? Social Justice... "A movement to demand changes in the priorities in the way the country distributes its wealth." Social Justice + Government = Redistribution of Wealth... which leads to, Tyranny. Social Justice + Individuals/Faith Groups/Other = Principles of the DOI/Constitution... and Liberty. And you make a fine example, of the arrogance on this forum.
  23. Love the Che Banner! - 00:54 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=IpJov7TRspI Nice Che Shirt! - 00:10 http://www.5min.com/Video/Will-Israeli-Social-Justice-Movement-Keep-Steam-517155729 When someone doesn't agree with you... WWCD? Shoot'em in the Head! Go Che!
