Also something I was going to address, but didnt want to get too long winded on a tuesday morning. If we are to define logic as the congnative ability to process information and produce a response to that information. Then, no theres no difference from male to female. Except for those ididots out there who just dont get it. BUT, if we define logic as the ability to process information, with limited or no emotional input, and output a result that is more efficient, ordered, and/or sequential, the I believe that men have a greater TENDNCY to produce such results. Dont slay me yet... For example: Sink is full of dishes, i load the dishwasher, sink is empty, dishwasher is full. Run the diswasher, all dishes clean. OR Sink is full of dishes, she loads the dishwasher, dishwasher is full, sink is NOT empty. Run dishwasher, empty dishwasher, load dishwasher again, run dishwasher, all dishes clean. Oh, and BTW, Im the cook in our house, and I'd prefer it if you stay the hell outta my kitchen! Just ask my friends. Got my own... and a couple of other toys too.... But, back on topic... Turtle, Please explain for the class how you seem to think that logic has a sex. Female logic? Male logic? Are you implying that thought (electrochemical signalling) has a Y or an X? (flick of the wrist.....) Since I belive that Turtle will not take this ball and run with it. I'll step up and take it! I dont belive that thought has and X or Y designation. But sometimes (notice I said sometimes) the ability to look at a given problem, especially if its mechanical, spacial (not special), or ordered seems to be more troublesome for women than men. I remember in my Psych classes learning about how men and women's brains are able to process certain types of information differently. Which is why it is typically easier for a man to fit X,Y, and Z in to a given space than a woman. Does this mean that women are less logical than men? No. My experience with my SO tells me that a woman can be just as logical as a man, BUT for some odd reason, fails to do so on many occasions. Again, Im gonna pick on her here, but more often then not she takes the proverbial cart and places it in front of the horse. I ask why? Response: I dont know, it sounded good. Ive jumped with colds before and once (it only takes once) I blew out my sinuses. Not the ears. Typically thats the damage that occurs, as the sinus cavities are larger than the station tubes leading to the inner ear and the inner ear. It hurts, and its bloody.
