I jumped a loaned rig once and even though I tightened the leg straps as much as possible the harness was too long. Result was that the container rode up with the harness high enough to prevent me from being able to look up at my canopy. The yoke of the container was pressing against the back of my helmet. On my first tandem, all the joking was done on the ground (except for the fake harness hook up problem). On the ground while I was getting in the harness, the camera guy said to the TM, "Isn't that the recalled harness?". Reply was "Yeah, but it's good for one more jump".
