ok well I blitzed through my AFF course and b relative course so i guess i was on a huge confidents boost. THen I decided to tackle my starcrest (allows one to jump with more than 10 ppl - must dock 5th or later in an 8way).... I can't seem to do it, I keep going too low. They say I don't use my legs enough in general but to slow my fall rate I must make them wider from time to time. Any tips to make you use yours legs more??? and help me with my confidents???? if my mind or body gives out on me chuck me out a plane with out a rig. It would be hell to be completely useless and ruin my families lives in the mean time. Life is about having fun - not a vegetable. The only thing that scares me about skydiving is the off chance that it will become illegal or I am physically unable to!!! The only thing that scares me in life is being illegal or physically unable to!!!! If your going to live in FEAR, why live at all!!!!!

I had my 2nd cutaway on my 37th jump, nothing to do with me just bad luck i've been told. I didn't stress for a second and i performed my cut aways perfectly.... don't u just love the bright white reserve??? anyways its all good. Who here would agree that the insanity of skydiving can keep you sane?? I'm dealing with a family health issue at the moment and I find that skydiving is the only thing that is keeping me from going nuts at the moment!!! is this possible or I am already insane and imagining the whole thing??? Go the West Coasters - i think we have most jumpable days in the year * least amount of Rainouts, too windy or too cloudy - this is for York (skydive express) by the way plus we have the hottest women around but I look forward to going to Ramblers in September JPW If your going to live in FEAR, why live at all!!!!!

Just wondering what is the most stupid thing you have done at your dropzone after a lot of beer in the middle of the night??? Mine would have to be when a mate and I jumped into the next paddock and stole a a brand spanking new lamb (we didn't know how young it was until after) - we eventually took it back after getting ripped by a couple females.... oh later that night I didn't burn outs next to the bonfire and blew my power steering pump!!!! - and they skydivers are insane If your going to live in FEAR, why live at all!!!!!

Some newbie questions on wingloading

i've been told that the wingloading is only a dangerous factor (worth worrying about) when you "HAVE TO" land crosswind or down wind. my wingloading is at 1:1.25 and I am very comfortable on it. The other factor is that I am confident with my PLF if I desperately need to. I'll probably be highly argued against but no one has seen my fly If your going to live in FEAR, why live at all!!!!!
