  1. ...The big question being, what is the proper name for their atheist organization! That reminds me of the Judean People's Front vs the People's Front of Judea vs the Judean Popular People's Front (splitters!) from the Life of Brian. I'll bet that was their inspiration. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  2. Good news, I suppose. Either he authorizes the rocket attacks, or is powerless to stop them. In either case he should go to allow the chance for someone to take power that will control them. 3. We didn't separate them at all. They have always shared everything. They like to groom each other at the same time, which usually develops into them play fighting after about 1 minute. 4. I had a female that was 6 years old, always alone before we got another female kitten. The old one was really pissed off for 2 days before she suddenly started grooming the kitten, treating it like its own daughter. They started to chase each other around the house, play fighting and everything. That first kitty died several months later. After about 4 months we got another female kitty, with exactly the same results, except it is still alive. I think our old cat is much happier since we made her 'adopt'. We didn't do anything special to help them get used to each other. The original and replacement playmates (they look very similar) are attached. 5. Apparently the techniques that some have mastered to get it in the bag are perhaps not so easy to master. The method is somewhat popular, even by those who don't need to do it. The psycho pack certainly does seem to keep everything more 'in place/orderly'. Bofh makes a valid point about not putting so much sweat on the canopy, the salts are not good for the canopy. So...

So, why even bother with a subject at all for your thread? People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  7. The large rings have the benefit of reduced cutaway pull force. The difference is significant: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=20716; Apparently Mirage recommends a limit of 200 pounds for their rigs with mini risers: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1041580#1041580 People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. 8. It sounds cool when you tell whuffo's that you psycho pack. Apart from that, I see no benefit. t Doesn't it make it easier to get it in the bag? I still don't jump a zero P canopy, so I don't know about all that stuff. If doing a psycho pack is easier for some than mastering the techniques to control it without a psycho pack, then there is a benefit. 9. Quite right, 2 repubs opposed him, and at least Chafee still does. Since you mentioned Voinovich, I thought he also had conceded that Bolton was doing well. Perhaps I'm wrong. Since he has been in office for a while during some contentious times at the UN, I'd like to know what exactly what part of his performance to which they object. They no longer have to just predict how he will do his job, so what is the problem, what did I miss? People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  10. I realize that the recess appointment was an insult to the Dems, I'm just saying that I thought he had surprised them by doing a good job, not being what they had feared he would be. I can't remember him being criticized for anything he had done since his appointment. Perhaps I just missed it. If all this is true, then the Senate Dems just want to get revenge for the insult of the recess appointment, and that is really crappy. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  11. A few months ago, I remember some Dem senator, I think the woman on the intelligence committee (don't remember her name), saying that she was surprisingly impressed with him, that he was quite reasonable, not an extremist as he had been described by others. So much for 'working together'. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. 12. That is a really crappy analogy. Okay. How about: You are confusing potential actions with defining characteristics. You're the one confusing an equal sign with potential actions. 14. Wikipedia is a crappy source. Yes, the Nazis political party was called National Socialism. North Korea is also officially self named the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, but I wouldn't be so quick to conclude from their name that they are democratic. Nationalism doesn't necessarily imply anything other than way too much pride. That part of the definition doesn't include mass murder. 15. Quite wrong: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=Fascism There are a few different dictionary sources on that site. Fascism 1. Nazi –noun 1. a member of the National Socialist German Workers' party of Germany, which in 1933, under Adolf Hitler, seized political control of the country, suppressing all opposition and establishing a dictatorship over all cultural, economic, and political activities of the people, and promulgated belief in the supremacy of Hitler as Führer, aggressive anti-Semitism, the natural supremacy of the German people, and the establishment of Germany by superior force as a dominant world power. The party was officially abolished in 1945 at the conclusion of World War II. 2. (often lowercase) a person elsewhere who holds similar views. 3. Sometimes Offensive. 16. I think diesels should have the exhaust pipe end right on top of the hood, so that you get as much soot as the people behind. I've had some say that the VW diesels don't blow soot, but that hasnt' been my experience. 20. I understand that you think the UN never should have created Israel after WWII, right? I understand that you wish that Israel had not won all the wars that followed. When the Arab leaders decide to have as much courage as Anwar Sadat had, then there will be a chance for peace. He truly had a change of heart, realized it was not in his people's interest to continue. We have the opposite of that now. I assert that it was not Isreal that needed a change of heart to make peace with Egypt. Do you have the courage for that change of heart? People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  21. We know you don't believe in God, why do you have to remind us? The new South Park episode has a good analogy. In the future, they are all atheists. The guy that got everyone to abandon religion and accept science to answer the great question, also said that it isn't enough to believe that your science has the right answer, you also have to be a dick to everyone that doesn't think like you. I have probably not remembered it quite right, but it is a great parody of religion and science as a religion. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  22. Thanks for the laugh, I'd forgotten about that crappy analogy. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
  23. You think you've been restrained until now? A voice of constructive, reasoned discourse? I think conservatives on this forum are commenting in particular about the vitriol of the posters to this forum, not our political leaders. However, I was amazed that Clinton got away with the line about "the politics of personal destruction". I remember what Clinton did to those that were a threat to him, including those that weren't a threat. The white house travel agency scandal is a good example of the politics of personal destruction applied to a non-threat, Hillary just wanted to get her own friends a choice bit of work, and instead of just doing it, they had to invent corruption charges. That was awful example of their arrogance that didn't even involve a pursuit of their agenda/political pursuits. 25. You are mistaking the position of an individual for the position of the leadership. The Republicans wanted Ney to resign, but he refused, and the leadership can't make him do it.
