  1. Thanks, yeah it was a 6 1/2 hour drive and fairly pricey thing to do for just myself so we made a family trip out of it. My 4 year old took to it pretty well, my 5 year old was not soo keen and only did one little session. My wife enjoyed it and plans to do a tandem when it warms up.
  2. Thanks! Yeah the instructor told me my main problem was not relaxing and kept de-arching a bit. I was able to figure out how to do turns and move forward and back somewhat though. AFF can't come soon enough!
  3. Hello everyone, starting AFF soon as the weather here warms up enough to do so. Have the money set aside to get me to my A license already so it's killing me to wait. Decided to take a long trip down to the closest wind tunnel to at least get an idea of how difficult it might be. My wife and kids got some tunnel time in as well! Here is a link to the the tunnel vid, my part is around the 6:56 mark. We had a great time, the instructors were great especially with my little ones and we can't wait to go back sometime. BTW flying your body is much more difficult than it looks I found out! http://youtu.be/RFH3XLFwVrs
