My favorite rejection was my then husband (now-ex) that said "I feel you are just using me for sex." We definitely had different sex drives. I bought my rig after I passed AFF but prior to my A license. I think it was around 20 some odd jumps. I bought new - decided that getting gear that fit me perfectly was worth the investment plus I didn't want to keep paying rental fees. I had already bought my jumpsuit and altimeter prior to the rig and bought my helmet and Cypress at the same time as my rig. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! This is soooo funny!!! I've never been one to say "No, honey, I've got a headache" or anything similar. However, I have been given the "No, honey, I'm not in the mood. Yes, a fence would definitely be a must with the coyotes. Although as the Akita's get older and bigger, they may just take on the coyotes. If you ever decide to get an Akita, there are quite a few rescue societies that have wonderful Akita's available. You never know...maybe one day Santa will bring you a puppy.

I'm here at work and have been on-call since Christmas Eve and will be on-call through New Year's day (assuming the person that's supposed to take the on-call phone and laptop remembers to pick up the stuff). You didn't fail as her friend. You were an excellent friend. You were there for her through everything. She failed herself and you as a friend. And, no you're not a bad person because you decided to terminate the friendship. You can still care about someone and love them and decide for you're own mental health that it is better not to hang out with them. Maybe one day she'll get her act together and realize what a good friend you have been to her. But, moving on is not something that makes you bad. And, good idea on donating the presents. Thank you! Yes, they were very loveable and protective. I'd highly recommend them as pets. They were even great with my ex-nieces and nephews. To give you an example, my ex-niece brought her new baby over to the house and put the baby (in her carrier) on the floor. Now, Goliath and Angela had never been around a baby before that point. So, I'm kinda nervous about how they'll react. They went over, smelled the baby, and then plopped on either side of her. Anyone coming near her, had both dogs watching them very carefully, and once Angela and Goliath saw they weren't going to hurt the baby, they'd relax on the floor next to her. It was so cute! All the posts with the cute dogs in them really make me miss my babies. My ex has them as he's got a house and able to keep them. I haven't been able to see them in 2 years. We got them when they were babies so I got the pleasure of raising 2 wonderful dogs for 3 and 2 years respectively. I wanted to share a picture of them. Goliath is the adorable one on the left and Angela is the adorable one on the right. At the time this pic was taken, Goliath was 3 (weighed in at 120lbs) and Angela was 2 (weighing in at 85lbs).
