Kennedy, my friend, deep breath!!!! I agree...there are times when the situation is either black or white and there is no gray. I do, also, firmly believe there are times when there is gray. And I will always try to see both sides of an issue and then after having heard both sides try and figure out if the truth is his story, her story, or a combination thereof. (FYI - Seeing/hearing/understanding both sides of an issue is not agreeing with the position or the situation.) What happened to PhillyKev - well...let's just say that the wench was out of line. True, people can lie about their experience level. But, I think that morally, you've done what you needed to do by asking those questions. You've asked them the questions and at that point in time, if they lie and say they have the experience and don't, you morally aren't responsible because you did your job. You asked. When they lied, they made the decision to accept the consequences and are now responsible for their decisions. Prior to them lying about their experience level, I would consider it maybe a lack of knowledge about the canopy. After they lied, it's their own damn fault what happens. Life is short! Angela, honey, lighten up a bit. You're still young and as time goes on, people evolve - and their needs/wants/desires change. People make lists - doesn't mean they stick to them. There are some things that people consider non-negotiable in their lists and others that are considered negotiable. And, no-one is looking for "Perfect" - there is no such thing, and it would totally suck to have someone who's "Perfect" in a relationship with a human (read: non-perfect). You're right...there's, also, the flip side of the coin - maybe he's the reason that he doesn't get along with his mom or ex-girlfriends. Be aware...people are multi-faceted creatures and there is always 3 sides to any story - his side, her side, and the truth (which is usually a blend of both his and her sides). Life is short!
