Zoom Super Wide Angle EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM I am considering this lens together with my new 400D. Anyone of you have any experience with it? I will use it for all different kinds of skydiving, but mostly for tandems... Cheers Peter

http://www.skydivesyd.nu/jesper.htm This link goes to a site that shows the Swedish regulations... The horisontal (top) axis is your exitweight in kilos and the vertical (left) axis is your total amount of jumps. This way you can find out the size of the smallest canopy your allowed to jump... And in Sweden the limit for highperformance canopys are 300 jumps... Hope this helps Peter

Ground training & preparation! Remember that relaxation is a physical ability!!! Train your manuvers on the ground, relaxed in your body and try to stress yourself up with stuff your worried about, then deal with it, but at all times remain relaxed and symetrical in your body... just my 0.02

I don´t think im doing something extreme every time I skydive. My first jump shure feelt extreme though! I don´t think we will ever find a common measure to whats extreme or not. Cause what is extreme to me is not neccesarily extreme to you... It comes down to your own abillities. For me ordinary downhill skiing would be very extreme, I´m no good att skiing. For a person competing in downhill skiing it´s probably not... My 2 cents... Fly free

I don´t think my cypress is a factor when it comes to what handel I will pull if i leave the plane in an emergency. If I leave low enough for my cypress to fire I would go for my reserve in any case because I´m probably to low for a second chanse if my first canopy fails any way... Emagine leaving at 1600´ deploying at low speed, maybe a few seconds of delay due to vaccum, a snivel that lasts for maybe a second longer than ussual and then you notice a mal... Then I don´t think you have the alltitude to safely cutaway anyway... Cya

-Scratch- It´s called SNUS in Swedish. And yes it´s awfull! I used to smoke like one pack a day for about five years. I hven´t lit one up for nearly two years now and I probably never will again

Loads of healing Swedish vibes coming your way Dove! Get well soon!

Following the leader can be a good way to get a feel for canopy flying. But be careful who you follow or you might end up in a lot of truble. For example a downwind landing or a very low turn due to the fact that you followed a guy who had a canopy with different flying characteristics... Glad you had a good flight

Thaks, both of U... But now I´m not so happy anymore. A great skydiver is dead. Lukas Knutsson. I first read it in the Incidents forum a few minuites ago... Turned into quite a serious morning show i guess Blue skies Peter
