HAHAH Thanks Sharkie! I had a blast and it was so cool to get to jump with some of the best freeflyers at Elsinore. The pond was COLD, btw, and BLUE. My hair is a funny color this morning... Which I tell you by way of fair warning - Cuz ole Sharkie hit 200 too! He just managed to keep it quiet. You need to know, there is no statute of limitations for a pondable offense. You don't go in this week, it'll be next week if we catch you anywhere near there! Wow, 200 jumps. It used to seem like SO many, now it feels like I've barely started... So much to learn, so few jump tickets in my pocket! Anyway, glad you were there to drink with us after! Cheers! Mandy

I much prefer the short sweet "grab right, grab left, pull right, pull left" to the "look red, hands on red, look silver, pull red, pull silver".... but I wonder if a 112 lb girl, under a ZP 155, is going to have a hard time pulling those handles with one hand? And then my boyfriend keeps reminding me that I need to peel before pulling... not included in my AFF drill... I dread my first cutaway, I swear. To top it off, in practice recently, hanging in the harness, I pulled red and went for silver but got my thumb stuck in the large ring which was now hanging down to where my silver handle *used* to be... I did this three times. Scared the **** out of me. Has everyone had an opportunity to practice pullling - in a harness with someone tugging on you like you're in a spin? It wasn't how I thought it would be at all. Or maybe it's just me...

Firefly makes the BEST free fly jump suits. They actually take into account that we have bodies inside them - girls shouldn't go anywhere else! And for some reason, all the guys at our DZ (most of whom wear Firefly!) have GREAT Butts! My two cents! Mandy www.zardwebdesign.com/Mandy

Hey Greg, I've been waiting to see if you get a good response to your question but wanted also to tell you that I checked with the Lost Prairie Site and they listed Spokane as the nearest BIG airport. A flight costs $218. A flight on cheap tickets to Kalispell costs $354. The rental car is $135 for the week from Spokane, but i don't know about milage. If you go with Christiaan and me, we can split the car and make the whole thing pretty cheap, save money for jumps! Also, I understand the DZ is about 30 miles from the nearest store so it will be great to have access to a car while we're there. You are hereby cordially invited. I think we're going to buy the tickets tonight so give me a call if you want to coordinate exact flights. Kat and the office have my number. See you this weekend if I don't talk to you first, Mandy

I think we're going to fly in on the 21st and fly out the 29th. I found flights for under $250 RT to Spokane. Car rental for the week is $135 but I'm not sure how milage works.
