VT skydiving rigging loft burned / fire insurance questions?
RevJim replied to VTflyer's topic in The Bonfire
Just a thought, but what if the private gear that was lost was in the loft for work, like inspections, repairs, repacks, ect? I would think that would transfer the liability to the loft, and thus their insurance? you could try this route for those that may not have renters/homeowners insurance... It's your life, live it! Oh, I didn't say you had bad taste (after all, I picked Wendy O'Williams in my lineup, and even threw in Boy George to see if anyone was paying attention). Both were incredible in their day (Lita, not so much now, Joan, I would cower from in the corner), but they didn't exactly give off a sexy feminine vibe like, say, Farrah Fawcett...who I just realized I cannot believe I left off my list. Farrah was definitely #1 of all time. Remember THAT poster? and the tall plastic mugs of the same? My dad still has "that" poster hanging on the wall in his shop. Boy, sure musta been cold at that shoot. Actually, after seeing her "Gold" photoshoot NSFW Clicky for Playboy, I see that the temp didn't matter. It's your life, live it! There is no such thing as a "Wrong Coast" when you live in Wisconsin. Either coast is a vast improvement. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1 -
Lita was my number 2. Sadly, I can look bad and see how disturbed I really was, with my number 1 being Joan Jett. What's the boy version of a fag-hag? I can look back now and just wonder, why? Eeew. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Actually, any morning exercise is good, before or after eating (though it is alot harder to exercise with a full belly). Reason? The food you just ate isn't digested, so the body must produce energy from stores for fuel. This uses the stores, and the body replaces them as digestion continues. For this reason, if you do exercise in the a.m. eating a high protien breakfast is a very good idea. You need carbs, but keep 'em on the low side. Damn, where did I get the knowledge, and just why am I still driving a truck? It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Heck, I stop and eat whenever i feel like it, for as long as I want. Downside, I need to drive longer to make up for it. That's why I usually eat while I drive. Ate dinner a quite a few hours ago. I know it's hard to do, but to burn calories when sleeping, go to bed hungry. It's harder to get to sleep, but when you wake up, hooooo boy, it's time to EAT! It's your life, live it! Actually, the great majority of people are digesting, and thus absorbing, calories while they sleep. Solution? Eat a bigger breakfast, and dinner VERY early. Most won't/can't and thus gain weight while they sleep. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Interestingly enough, my experience is just the opposite. Being a truck driver, exercise is very hard to get. We sit in one position for an entire day, sleep, and do it again the next day. I put myself on a simple diet, which helped, but honestly, being a driver I'm up more hours a week, by far, than the "average" person. I typically drive for 11 hrs, sleep 6 or 7, drive 11, sleep 6 or 7, repeat for a month at a time. This means I start out sleeping at night, but each day go to sleep a few hours earlier than the previous. By the end of the month, I've been awake, sometimes, over a day or 2 more than the typical up during the day, sleeping at night person. Does a human body not burn more calories while awake and active than when resting? Well, it worked. Minus 45 pounds and holding. It's your life, live it! Damn. I have a 305, but I've never collected any dirty data. I must be doing something wrong. Seriously, I'd ask "vidiot". His Paralog interfaces with Garmin GPS units, so he has experience with it. That's what I was thinking, but didn't want to come out and say it... Paralog is perfect for what we usually use GPS for, but I wasn't sure if that's what Remi was using it for... the sad part is I won't know if I have a load for there until, literally, I get it. 1st in, 1st out dispatch. I'll beg, borrow, plead, but cannot actually promise. I can say I'll try my hardest. After all, it's freaking cold in Wisconsin then, and I think I might need a trip to warmer climes... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Left Hand, Garmin. Right Hand, Hammer. Bring together. Cleaned. Seriously, what are you asking? The raw data from all GPS units need to be interpreted by external software. Is that the "training" thing, or do you have a stand alone mapping software that can interpret data? It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
