    Question. I was told that if the winds aloft are high at opening altitude, it is important to open facing directly into the wind or directly downwind. Why is this true?

    Thank you. Until I hear back from USPA I'm going to assume it's just a rumor. Who? ;) I heard it from several jumpers. Edit: "The 50 Jump Requirement will not change. There are no planned changes at this time." -USPA

    I've been hearing this rumor the B license jump requirement is going up to 100 January 1st, but the local DZ's S&TA says he has not heard anything like that. True or False? Edit: Are the B license requirements changing the first of the year, and if so what is changing?
