    Well, I didn't really "violate" it but my former boss was about 5' tall (I'm 5'9"). I used to always bug him about being so short. One day, I took those big "post it note" flipchart pads and wrote "Rex, the big people are coming..." on it and stuck it to his desk. Another time, he was repotting some plants in his office and left a box of Miracle Grow on his desk. I took a picture of it and emailed it to him with a note saying "Even this won't help". I never did get fired. He and I actually became good friends. 'Shell

    This is something I've wondered about for years. Given that none of the examples in Alanis' song are actually examples of irony, is she just stupid ... or is the entire song ironic in that it isn't really about irony? According to an interview she gave a while back, yep, it's ironic that it's not about irony. Or maybe she is just stupid ... she was engaged to "Van Wilder" ... But like you care anyway ... 'Shell
