Excluding canadia sure this is important. But If we are talking eastern coast of North America there are significantly bigger mountains in places like Gros Morne and Baffin. On a different note, i was surprised to learn people are jumping natural E objects in missouri and oklahoma!

heard about a few DZs that have closed sometime in the last year or so. DZ in Germany, kamloops, Truckee, skydive temple, skydive Sacramento. Was wondering if anyone knows of any other DZs closing. Also curious, how is business at your DZ? Staying busy?

Why are there so many fatalities this year?
jakebaustin replied to alfonso904's topic in Safety and Training
average for the last ten years is about 20 per year in the US. However if we’re comparing 2022 numbers to 2020 and 2021 it seems that this year has been significantly more deadly- 50% more fatalities so far in ‘22 compared to ‘21- but really ‘20 and ‘21 were just covid times and not as many people jumping which probably lead to less fatalities. -

Are People Jumping Right Now?
jakebaustin replied to PlaneFun's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I believe that there are DZs in these states operating : Arizona, Hawaii, California, Florida, Texas -
Elsinore will run you 3500$+ for an A license, and afterwards you will pay 27 per jump ticket, elsinore is not a good option if you are looking for affordable.
