Jokes about McDonalds taking over the world aside, I actually studied that case for a business law course I took and it was pretty extreme. A lot of times we look at headlines and think something is ridiculous before we bother to find out the rest of the story. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

I luv you Michele. Anyone with kitties should read The All-New Natural Cat. I discovered it when I was nursing a terminally ill kitty a few years ago. We lost the kittie after he was no longer enjoying life, but I learned a lot from that book. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

He's ok. Not blocked although they had to forcefully get a urine sample from him which was at least as traumatizing for me as it was for him. On antibiotics for 2 weeks, follow up before he flies next week. My babies are currently on a wet diet specifically designed for urinary tract problems. Otherwise, they are fed a fairly strict diet consisting of 60% protein, 20% grain, 20% veggie, and a homemade vitamin supplement. The stuff in the cans is, for the most fact, stuff that was deemed unfit for human consumption, although there are a few companies that don't use by-products. I'm actually quite the fanatic about their diet, so ash intake isn't generally an issue. They actually probably eat better than me and most people I know. Yeah...I'm a wierdo. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

Sigh...poor big kitty has urinary tract problems again. They may have to remove his penis to widen his urethra....god this sucks but I suppose if it keeps him out of pain its for the best.
