Will someone please post the explaination of the reasons we fall faster than 120 mph for my dear non skydiving friend who is about to piss me off? He says its against the laws of physics and I was always drunk in physics and I can't come up with a comeback on my own (although I did hit damn near 200 mph on my head with a certain someone here over Christmas). I pound the hell out ofm min after I pack it, but I also have a cordura pouch. I haven't managed to give myself a hard pull yet but when someone else left me one I braced my right elbow on my container to give me the leverage I needed for my one last yank. Ummmm....anyone got tent or room space to share? I have a car, I can shuttle from a motel or hotel if someone wants to split a place. I'm also damn happy camping, no WAY it can be as cold as the holiday boogie here. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

I just got my April issue of Parachutist and it made me a little sad that I knew or am close to someone who knew two of the fatalities. But you know what made me really sad? The gear store, which shall remain unnamed, that had the ad about murdering kittens. I had to curl up in a ball and sob over that one....poooooooor baby kitties........guess I should call and buy a new main.... Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

Ummm...I stayed with a friend last night who caught food poisoning (its the weekend for foodborne illness in Scottsdale) and brought him water between bouts of ...illness....poor guy. Friday I was sick. Saturday I waited in vain for people to recover from Friday nights party...which never happened so I got all the sleep I missed on Friday. Oh well...next 3 weekends are skydiving ones here and at Rocky Pt so somebody had better be able to party with me to make up for this one. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

I have a Wings W-10 which is made to hold a 135-150 square foot canopy. I've put both sizes in there and now I've got a 120 and its fine. I'm not sure it will take the next size down although I know of at least one person using a the same size container for a cross braced 108 (unfortunately, it will be quite a while before I even think about cross braces...). Also packing the 150 left me forever pissed at packing in general....but that's another story. Double check with the manufacturer. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

I think I see the white light at the end of the tunnel. I made it most of the way out of Phoenix before I realized I couldn't drive to Eloy, let alone skydive. Aaaaaaahhhh.....I'm going to SUE! Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
