    I'm Happy

I think I'm happy now, Went back to tri training this week and am sore in places I forgot existed. Am taking the rest of the week off hello yoga to run and swim. Am going to a small rave tonight. I feel good. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  3. I have freefly pants again! Thanks a million to Chuck Priest at DaKine for giving me the last bits of fabric that matched my jacket. And whoever had my other pair, enjoy them and burn in hell. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  4. I flew United from Hawaii to LA. No problems but it did take me close to 2 hours to clear security, as I got every random search on the planet. I would recommend going through security sober though, as I don't think they appreciated my red eyes and giggling. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  5. I want to see the Lummy dance at Perris. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  6. Well I don't think God hates me and I'm not a bad person and the AC in question is in my car so there really AREN'T any maintenance people. How bout cause I'm broke? Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

    I'm Happy

I'm trying, its just that I'm in that wierd transitionary period where I get used to being a nighttime shift person again and I feel all wierd. Not unhappy, just wierd. And I just got called into work at 5 so no yoga for 2nd day in a row, I'd better go work out. But I'm glad the bytch is happy. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  10. ITs not generally recommended that you sedate an animal before airline travel although you would be there to moniter her, rather than her being checked. But check with your vet. I have flown with pets in cabin on ATA, and United and its way less of a hassle than checking them (I had to send them air cargo when flying to and from Hawaii and THAT was traumatizing, although mostly for me). Don't feed her beforehand, she's better hungry than messy and if you're flying around in the country, which I assume you are, the flight can't be too terribly long. I carried my little guy on when he was maybe 3 months old, he was so teensy. He slept or stared at me the whole way. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

    I'm Happy

Well I'm not happy, but I'm glad you are. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  12. How about a very flexible Yogi with 200 jumps and a year working at Victoria's Secret plus 6 years in the military, half of of which were spent in mid level management? I speak Chinese and Arabic. I...I...I like cats. If the Wings looked so good on naked me imagine the Mirage.... OK, yeay, time to put more money in the Mirage change jar. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  13. Are ya HIRING? Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  14. Call ahead, they generally limit the number of pets in the cabin to two. Sherpa makes a good soft sided carrier so your baby can fit under the seat, assuming he or she isn't huge. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  15. Stinkerbell! I just took that survey guys and gals, so the free Mirage is now MINE MINE ALL MINE. OK, I need a nap. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  16. AZ and there are at least 3 maybe 4 DZs in that radius (I'm not sure how far away the one by Tuscon is). Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  17. I have read a lot about newer jumpers flying lightly loaded elliptical canopies like Stillettos and Cobalts and I brought the subject up to someone with about 11000 more jumps than me last weekend. He conceded that they can be safely landed, straight in and low performance style by someone with less experience but also pointed out that if a last minute adjustment had to be made due to a landing hazard, the canopy would dive at a much faster rate potentially resulting in a puddle of inexperienced jumper.... IF this is true, and I do see his point, how are people with 50 and 100 jumps safely flying elliptical canopies? Are they winging it? Are they just lucky? Or am I a total loser and should I know how to hook turn and swoop by this point? My canopy control is decent but I have not considered learning higher performance landings until recently, and I plan on doing it with a coach. Am I perhaps interpreting what he said incorrectly-ie was he referring to a hard panic turn and not all low turns? Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  18. For the record fellow shychickies if anyone at a DZ in a 100 mile radius of me wins it I will kick his ass and take it for team ovary. Then we can oil wrestle for it... Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  19. Details! Bar. In Scottsdale. Cute little classy one with good lunch and lousy short poles. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  20. Heehee, I wore freefly pants and nothing underneath on a hottish Hawaii day once...never again....although I think I gave some people an eyeful checking for damage in the middle of the landing area. I found a cool site about surface piercings http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/11-surface/wantone.html Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  21. AHHHHH its LOOKING AT ME!!!!! Damn I wish I could sleep. I love working nights, I feel like a vampire., Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  22. Ooooh Mirage makes me all warm and fuzzy. I need psychiatric help. And a G3. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  23. I must hear that at least 500 times a day at the DZ but thanks. I believe that if my 10 guage rings had enough pressure exerted on them to yank them out I'd probably notice beforehand. I have friends that jump shirtless with smaller guages. I'm not sure what the young lady who made PArachutist's incident reports had in but I'd bet it was a thin guage. The only problem I've ever had was a little irritation on one side after jumping a borrowed rig, and the piercing was irritated anyway bacause I was working somewhere where I had to wear latex over the nipples and I am apparently super sensitive to the nasty stuff. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  24. Did that HEAL? Someone told me it wouldn't since you're not really piercing through something, just kind of lifting the skin. I had all my piercings before they were cool too. They're just kind of part of me. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
  25. To each his (or her) own. Now seriously, who had em and did you have to wait to jump or otherwise protect them? I tape my belly if I'm wearing a baby T, my nipples I generally leave alone, I've got a pretty big guage in them now. I'd probably tape them too though if I were to do another topless or nekked jump.
