  3. I would suggest going with the pc105 (the pc103 does not have DV in, very usefull for copying footage from other DV cameras). The only downside (so far) I have found with the PC103 / PC105 is that Sony has changed the socket for the analogue video/audio out. Only makes a difference if you are downloading as normally there is the 'old' style headphone jack already connected to the mixer. Not really a problem, you just have to remember to have your new style cable handy. James
  4. I am looking at getting my first camera and after reading all the posts I can find it would seem that the PC105 is the coming out on top. Does anybody have experience of jumping this camera? From what I can tell it: has DV in /out (unlike the PC103 which only has out) has a LanC port (cam eye) can be side mounted easily What I have not been able to find out and was wondering if anybody can help with is: How does it handle opening shock? I have heard people talk about some lens systems having problems at opening? Does the new wide angle 16:9 wide mode cause incompatibility problems (camera to camera transfer, backwards compatibility etc) and if so can it be turned off? Does the higher resolution CCD on the PC120 make a worthwhile improvement to the video image (not bothered about the stills)? Does anyone know of any disadvantages to the PC105? Any help and/or advice most welcome, Thanks, James
  5. Hi all, I am just about to book my tickets to Orlando to go skydiving at Sebastian for 3 weeks I arrive this Saturday and was wondering how to get to Sebastian DZ! I don't really want to hire a car for the whole time as it going to cost loads and I don't plan on using it while I am there. Anybody done it before / got some suggestions? Are there any buses or shuttles etc? Many thanks for any help, James
