  1. I believe it is. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  2. I wasn't at Crosskeys yesterday (I am in Colorado right now). I'm just thinking that this is the bird I jumped from last year, which was tons of fun. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. I believe I made a bunch of jumps out of that very same helo last year during the Wildwood PST beach boogie. Tons of fun I say!!! Nice bird to jump from!!! Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. Congrats on your 1000th? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. Now we're getting somewhere folks. - I've got Jason T down for the golf clubs. - Eric down for the computer speakers and joystick. - Dave down for the "Memphis Belle" VHS tapes and yes the spice rack comes with the following (Thyme Flakes, Ground Mustard, Minced Onion, Oregano, Rosemary Flakes, Red Pepper, Bay Leaves, Parsley Flakes, Allspice, Whole Peppercorns, Celery Salt, Pickling Spice and Basil Flakes). I've got some errands to run, so I'll check back later. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. I'm giving away all these gun filled VHS tapaes because I mainly replaced them with DVD versions. No comments about the Mexicans though. As I said I knew the rules before I came here, so I can't cry over the split milk. Plus it's important to note that I'm NOT being deported. I'm just going to honor the terms of my B-2 visitors visa to ensure I don't have problems in the future. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. Since Ryan isn't around to speak for himself, I will give them to you Jason and yes they not only come with the bag but also a dolly on wheels. Consider this payment for all the hard work you did for swooping in CO this year. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  8. Pinnermeadow Irons and a Titleist Clubs. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. Eloy Holiday Boogie!!! Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. The skydiving community is not all that big and the BASE community is even smaller. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. Believe it or not my last 50 jumps were all hop n' pops swooping Mile Hi's new swoop pond. I know this stat will be changing very soon what with my up and coming move, but currently I've swooped that pond more than any other person. Oh and that 50th jump was logged on 9-3-05 (less than 3 weeks ago and I haven't jumped in a week due to an injury). I bet you're ready to kill me right about now right? Of course my bank account is hurting more than my body. It's been a fun summer, but I sure spent a lot of money enjoying it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. I'm not home yet ... but three weeks will go by real fast (hence the reason why I can't procrastinate too much with my move, there's a lot of shit that I still need to do). I do have ties to Calgary (I still own a house in Edgemont and have whuffo friends and siblings living there) and I totally want to get in touch with the Cooper bros. to see if they'll take me to some of the cliffs they've been jumping in Alberta.
  13. That's why this stuff was offered to the Colorado peeps. It doesn't make sense to ship this stuff off to some other place. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. What no takers on the free stuff I'm offering. Come on people, somebody pony up and take the golf clubs, christmas tree and all the other free stuff. I can't take them with me. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  15. What if I treated you so well that you wouldn't want any extra-marital affairs. Ah who am I kidding, I'd be running off to different swoop comps (having my own affairs) and you'd be force into having sex with some other bloke. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  16. If I can wing it from a finacial point of view, I would love to compete in one of your Georgia/Florida CPC comps next year. Remember this move to Vancouver isn't the worst thing to happen to my short competitive swooping career (especially if a Western Canadian CPC region was to start up next year). To date all I know is swooping at altitude. Swooping at sea level (at least for a short time) might be good for me. Well, this is what I keep telling myself. I will miss Mile Hi's new pond though. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  17. You know marriage would help me stay in the long term, but I would still need to leave by Oct 17th. Plus I've always told myself that I would never want to marry someone for the sake of a Green Card. The jumping may be better in the USA, but contrary to what some people think, life in Canada isn't all that bad. You know Kelly could marry me and move to Vancouver with me. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  18. With only three weeks left on my B-2 visitors visa a virtually no job leads, I've got no choice if I don't want to risk a permanent ban. My sorry ass will be on the other side of the border come October 17th. Of course I knew the INS rules before I came here, so I can't cry over them wanting me to leave the country. It's their rules, not mine. It sucks to have to spend thousands of dollars moving, but Vancouver is a nice city ... I think. A lot will depend on my finances. I do hope to compete at the Ground Launching Championships in CA this November (I've already talked to Jim S about it). If I can wing it I'd like to compete at the SkyQuest swoop comp in FL a week or so after that (I've already talked to Chris H about this), there's always the Turkey Boogie in Moab over Thanksgiving, I hope to be at the Eloy Holiday Boogie (I've spent my last 3 Christmas's there) and of course it would be nice to visit Mile Hi next summer to compete in a CPC swoop comp or two over the pond. As I said, a lot will depend on my finances. Nope ... I can't get a Denver recruiter to call me let alone a Canadian recruiter. I doubt I'll be working anytime soon ... maybe come January if I'm lucky. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  19. In three weeks I will be all packed up and moving back to my native Canada (Vancouver BC here I come). I'm currently going through a bunch of stuff trying to determine what I'm going to keep and what I need to give away. Ideally I would have a garage sale, but I don't have that much to give away and I'd rather spend the few weekends I have left jumping at the DZ (or jumping at the Moab boogie). So I'm going to have a few things at the DZ (Mile Hi) this weekend to give away free of charge. I may add to this but so far here is the list of things I'm looking to give away: - One set of golf clubs. - One artificial Christmas Tree with ornaments and lights. - One Sony double audio cassette player. - One small bedroom humidifier. - One small cooler. - One set of small computer speakers. - One Sidewinder computer joystick (with driver CD). - "Dances with Wolves" VHS tape. - "Terminator 2" VHS tape. - "Total Recall" VHS tape. - "Predator" VHS tape. - "Memphis Belle" VHS tape. - "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" VHS tape. This is all I can think of right now, but I may find more stuff as I sift through my shit preparing for this move. You local Colorado (Mile Hi) peeps will actually be doing me a favor by taking some of this stuff off of my hands. The less possessions I have will mean the less weight I need to pay for with the movers and the smaller place I will need to live in. So if any of this stuff interests you (free of charge), drop me a PM and I'll try and reserve it for you. Otherwise I'll just give it as a first come first serve basis. Even though I'm still injured from my rear riser stall crash last week, I should be at the DZ this Saturday and Sunday. Steve ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  20. You know I've yet to even see the video of Jason R's mega chow. But I heard it was a nasty one. I wouldn't hold my breath as to it surfacing anytime soon. But who knows ... I guess it'll be up to Jason. I know if my mega chow a week before the CPC Championships was videoed (which it wasn't as only three people witnessed it, none of which was videoing) I wouldn't mind sharing it since I didn't suffer any serious injuries. 21. I would like to visit Austin one day. As a former resident of Boulder Colorado (yes I know Boulder has it's share of weirdos) and it would be interesting to compare the two since they've been likened to each other (along with Berkely CA). By the way, excuse my college football ignorance but what Big 12 team is based out of Austin? Texas Tech? This is all talk, but the Buffs will squish their scrony asses. As I said, it's all talk. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  22. Huh? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  23. I had the same problems you're having. From the skydivingmovies URL, right click on the "Download" button and select "Save Target as" and once downloaded on your 'puter just double click on the file to play it. By the way, it's amazing how high Jay popped up into the air on his distance record jump. I've popped up before on distance runs, but not that high. Then again my name is not Jay "I stole SkymonkeyOne's lunch money" Moledski. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. Anyone catch Bushie's news conference earlier today? He was obsessed with talking about the war on terror. When asked about Rita and Katrina, he kept changing the subject to get back to talking about his war. I guess domestic issues aren't as important as trying to go down in the history books as a war president. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  25. She's awful wimpy. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
