You're not busting anyone's balls. The evidence you use to support your ideas, like You-Tube videos are largely ignored because they purport garbage theories. When you gather facts from conspiracy, MAGA sources instead of real facts. Those who believe in science, economics, history and the opinions of a real majority. Will see little of relevance, of seriousness in such positions. I'm surprised that Billvon gives serious replies to your positions. I'm not as impatient as John to block your posts. But like a drunk in a restaurant who insists upon yelling obnoxious unrelated statements at those around you. Tuning out the source is the majority option.

During the Ghislaine Maxwell trials it was revealed that several of Maxwell's sex slaves came from Mar-A-Lago. So closing that down would be a huge win in the fight against child traffickers, eh? Oh, and remember Ted Suhl? He ran The Lord's Ranch, a camp in Arkansas. It was a cover for a child sex ring, with “innumerable incidents of fondling of genitals and oral rape. The . . . men and women who owned, operated, and staffed the facility preyed on and abused the children housed on the remote facility in Warm Springs, AR. routinely and systematically.” Then those mean cops arrested him for running that. But don't worry. Trump pardoned ol' Ted. Birds of a feather and all that. Trump made that deal with the Taliban because the Taliban promised Trump they'd use the equipment to fight terrorism. The Art of the Deal! As always, sorry about the facts.

Disaster Response experience mode: That area is called flooding alley. The Guadalupe River flooded in nearly every decade of the 20th century. Ten people – teens attending a summer camp in Comfort – died in 1987 during a flash flood when their school bus drove into water. A flood in 1998 was the deadliest in the area up until that point, killing 12 people. https://www.tpr.org/news/2025-07-06/texas-flash-flood-alley-kerrville Lived in Houston back in the day - take a look at the attachment for their flood history. While stationed at Ft. Hood, we had one river area heavily posted with "Do not cross during Flash floods." Under that sign was a "Number of Deaths This Year: XX" When I left it was 55. 1. If you're going to lay blame, it is at the feet of each Governor 2. People forget until the next one, then there's another round of Thoughts & Prayers. We will bank money to respond to a disaster; but do shit to prevent it. Every. fucking. year. And, children die for that lack of prevention each year. history-timeline2022.pdf

Generally speaking, I don’t favor any US President acting unilaterally, without the consent of congress, to bomb any nation. Without question malign states in pursuit of weapons of mass destruction are a problem. But I see it as a world problem best resolved in conjunction with partners not an American only problem. We can further discuss the efficacy of other Presidents actions and whether or not they were appropriate or necessary or acted on unilaterally. But that was not the issue I stated which was the question of whether or not the bombing set back their program or just made some folks feel better. That and I simply do not trust Trumps motive in the decision.

Too much chemical "joy" last night perhaps? Of course they could be wrong. But so far they have not been. Remember how Trump said tariffs would not increase inflation? Inflation is up. Remember how Trump said he'd drop grocery prices on day one? They are up. Remember how Trump said he'd end the Ukraine war in 24 hours? It's gotten worse. Remember how he said he wouldn't start any wars? He bombed Iraq. Remember how he said he'd release the Epstein list? He's hanging on to it because he's on it. What you are feeling now is cognitive dissonance; that the man you have placed all your sense of being on is being shown to be a liar. That's why you're crying and lashing out.

Or why Trump's ex-defence lawyer Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, filed an appearance in the case of Ghislaine Maxwell. He is going to make an under the table offer of a pardon in exchange of a couple lies regarding the US president. Eric Adams being the precedent for such corruption. In case nobody noticed we are just six months into the term of the most corrupt leader in the history of the western world.

The real future should be figuring how to use less of it in the first place. Fewer and more efficient lights, appliances, smaller cars and more mass transit. Insulation. And that’s just individuals. There’s a reason the mantra starts with reduce Wendy P.

No argument on any of your points. We've had this discussion about the _right_ approach. I just watched the news this morning and saw the silliness in California, beat downs here and there, continuous violations of the constitituion by law enforcement (no surprise) and just got my pissed off for the day and wanted to vent. We see pics of soldiers in foreign countries giving children water, food, etc. while here we see children getting scared by those to serve and protect and it just pisses me off. /rant II

I'm not dead. The last five years almost killed me, but I survived. I don't want to go into it but I became the care taker for my mother for the last few years until she finally decided to stop breathing. But the important thing is I am still alive. Which is more then I can say for dropzone. It seems to not be where I left it. What happened to this place? On a more relevant issue, I don't know how many people will appreciate the joke I don't know how many people here will still remember my post, but I wrote a book. Yes the most illiterate person on the internet is now a published author. Que the laughter from the gallery. I know you wont believe me so check it out for your self. https://www.amazon.com/Trapped-Time-only-hope-future-ebook/dp/B0FHJHG4Q2/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0 And yes the world has finally come to an end. Just look at the flooding here in Texas. Today I saw a dog and a cat walking down the street with each other. I'm expecting fire from the sky at any minute. But all jokes aside, Check out the book you might even consider buying one like relic. Phisical proof of a divine marical. The artist guy did a great job on the cover although it came out a little darker then intended, but he wasn't cheep. And the editor, the poor editor. That man deserves a meddle. He needs to be paid off too. So buy a book because they deserve it even if I don't. In the mean time, what have I missed here? Lee

Hi Wendy, Re: Let’s see what good indexing and AI do with it in the future IMO it will only get worse. And, I am an optimist. Jerry Baumchen PS) A few days ago, I was reading a couple of on-line articles about Kohberger. All were 99 44/100% bogus. Everyone seems to want their face in a YouTube video or their name on an article. They seem to clamor for it. A sad commentary on human-kind.

Hi Keith, Not quite. I believe JD never truly became a Trumper. I think that he and others are simply using Trump to further their agenda and personal lust for power. The evangelicals and racist extremes (Mike Johnson, Steven Miller etc) would back whoever furthers their agenda most. Unlike the dems who shielded you all from Biden’s issues, I believe they will stick the knife in as soon as the liabilities grow. Sadly, the dems handling of Biden’s health give more legitimacy to a ‘coup’ due to health and potentially greater support to a JD take over. As to whether Americans like JD or not, that isn’t really an issue. The extremists are emboldened to think they can do what they like.

"WASHINGTON, July 12 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said he might revoke talk show host Rosie O'Donnell's U.S. citizenship after she criticized his administration's handling of weather forecasting agencies in the wake of the deadly Texas floods, the latest salvo in a years-long feud the two have waged over social media. "Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, invoking a deportation rationale the administration has used in attempts to remove foreign-born protesters from the country." America and its King are swirling in the toilet bowl.

Thanks. I know you are a Wes fan and should be were the coming contest one of choosing a swell human being. I would be a very happy camper if we lived in an enlightened land where a female with a german name could be elected leader by a nation of latino's but we are too backward and our founding documents are plainly insufficient in this more modern world. Look, by now we all should know that America would be a safer and more collaborative place if old white men would recognize that diversity and inclusion aren't just concepts but strengths to act upon. Or, better yet, if they would just take a hike. But that won't miraculously be the landscape in 4 years and definitely not in the 4 years we have to prepare. So we need to quit talking Moore and start talking less of what middle America and the boys and girls proudly waving Confederate flags will never vote for. Instead we need to focus only on what has the best chance to win the Presidency. Then we use the rulings of our current, corrupt Supreme Court to start the process of, 1. Ensuring the Right has no chance in 2028 and, 2. Jamming democracy down the throats of all of the ignorant motherfuckers who made this shitty, zero tomatoes, movie a reality.

Nicholas, Georger, and Ollemiss are absolutely correct. "Fronts and Backs" is NOT military jargon. I have never heard that term uttered by a paratrooper or military free fall parachutist. And backpack, seatpack, and quick attach rigs, where only the harness is worn, were always described by a single word - parachutes. This thread, like a number of others on this site, is a waste of time.

She is now. She worked illegally when she first got here; she was an illegal immigrant. By the letter of the law, if you make a false statement on your application for citzenship, it is invalid. One of the questions that gets asked on every form you fill out is "have you broken US immigration law?" She lied on that, and thus her citizenship is invalid. Of course she is now above the law and so nothing will happen to her. This would be the classic "argument from incredulity" - i.e. I have no idea what's going on so it must all be BS. A favorite of flat Earthers, anti-vaxxers and Trump supporters for years.

Huffman reminds me of Travis King the US private that defected to N. Korea in 2023. Normally Kim would have played it up to his maximum advantage. But King was a seriously screwed up person. Putin on the other hand has a propaganda win with Huffman. I'm somewhat surprised that he was sent to the front. But Putin will play it for all its worth. Be it King, Huffman or the Russian population Darwin is at work separating the wheat from the chaff.

There is no way to date this. It assumes that Cooper was a no-pull and died in the jump. The Western Flight Path (or whatever you want to call it) to bypass Portland on the west side would have passed almost directly over Tena Bar. Specifically, the WFP was almost straight down the center of the Columbia River for several miles. Due to the winds aloft being from the southwest at all altitudes up to 10,000 feet and of about 30 knots velocity, Cooper would have travelled about 1000 feet to the northeast during a free fall which was between about 40 to 60 seconds. And he would have landed on solid ground but very close to the river's eastern side. He would have also had to land west of the Northwest Lower River Road (which is built on top of a levee) in order to enter the Columbia in the area of Tena Bar. FWIW, the late Dr. Meyer Louie and I went through the dairy runoff settling pond (which is just over the bank from Tena Bar) about 10 years ago with metal detectors and didn't find a single thing, The detector's manufacturer indicated that they should be able to find anything up to two or three feet beneath the sand under the conditions we experienced. Additionally, local fishermen who were longtime visitors to Tena Bar told us that they had never seen the river high enough to flood the settling pond or anything from the settling pond passing into the river. All of this was discussed here in much more detail 10 to 15 years ago. To respond here to FlyJack's post of a few minutes ago, the jump time of 8:11 PM PST has been the accepted jump time from day one which was 1971. This is not a new revelation. Further, I reject the FBI's proposed flight path out of hand. No airline crew would fly like that under the hijacking circumstances. Also, the FBI's FOIA unit has gone out of their way to ensure that the actual transcripts of the communications between the airliner and the Seattle ATC are not released. And those transcripts are in the public domain.
