The myth of American exceptionalism is now dead thanks to the American people allowing it to be killed. The once great shining example of the American Constitution with its separation of powers has been turned into a hollow empty promise. Trump did not do this alone and the midterm elections are not going to undo any of his outrageous actions. The die is cast.

And from there it developed into today's world of unfortunate values and all of the poor choices made by men. Girls did this to us.

Kamkisky claimed Cooper knew because he said "get the show on the road",, logical non-sequitur. Thats not even remotely close to what I said. People can read it.

I mean we are ALL making it up beyond the salient facts that we know: Cooper received parachutes and jumped from the plane. There are so many more factors in play here than this binary option. Maybe Cooper's level of experience would not have had him preferring the chute setup that he received, but we already know that he has been delayed enough to completely ignore the fact that they gave him the money in the wrong container. In a vacuum you might be able to home in on the nuances of Cooper's decisions, but there is so much noise here that it seems like a fools errand. The guy knew something about parachutes and he didn't bring his own. He's probably military. He's 50ish, he probably jumped in WWII and/or Korea (money is on and for me), he might have jumped in Vietnam as well. Why go further than this when it's all supposition at that point?

    Very slippery slope.

When I was in school there was math, science, English (grammar and literature), 2 foreign languages (I did French and Latin), history, world geography. No health ed, sex ed, how to balance a checkbook or cook a souffle, etc., you were supposed to learn that stuff elsewhere. I got most of my sex ed from my first girlfriend.

Absolutely. When I was in school - health education also included sex education. .

Health education should include nutrition, the basics of illness (difference between a virus, a bacteria and a parasite), and illness management/prevention (how vaccines work; when to get a vaccine and when to use an expectorant). Basic personal hygiene and food handling.
