So, I _think_ we're all pretty much of a like mind when it comes to what's been happening with the deportation situation. Rolling up on someone because they're brown and demanding papers until it escalates to a beat down. ICE/CBP/Police take an oath to uphold the constitution not unlike soldiers. Soldiers are taught to refuse an illegal order. Unfortunately, less senior police/soldiers get the class, but become leary of its execution. Think Abu Ghraib. I blame the leadership.

I realize I'm on the opposite side of most of you when it comes to Illegal entry, but there is a right way and a wrong way to do something. We had to have court intervention to do the right thing. There is a constitution and a code of federal regulations for a reason. There have been so many errors in the past 20 years. Not developing more points of entry, not securing the borders, no vetting process, etc. etc. But, none of it matters if we as a nation do not do things the right way until we are here. “A society should be judged not by how it treats its outstanding citizens but by how it treats its criminals.” ~Fyodor Dostoyevsky
