Easily done. Like I have done EVERY gun transfer to or from me. At the local cop shop. They were VERY happy to assist to make sure the guns were clean, no criminal history, and both parties background checks were clear.

My view on the tie... The "fingerprint" is the totality and wide range of particles, not the few. Looking at a few particles and claiming a match to an environment is like using one ridge point of a fingerprint and claiming a match... An analogy might be a mechanic who only works on Tesla's... vs a mechanic that works on all types of vehicles. Those tie particles indicate such a wide variety that the environment must also reflect a wide exposure.. not a narrow one.. So, picking out one or a few particles doesn't work. The uniqueness or "fingerprint" is the wide variety of particles. The tie environment exposure must match the wide variety of particles found.. Like TBAR, I doubt we will be able to prove anything... just theories. Then, there is a possibility Cooper was not the one wearing the tie when the particles were deposited.

That generation not being well-versed in the Bible, probably thought he was attributing his father to the - greatest. of. all. time. DJT jr without his father would probably be selling hot dogs on a corner in NYC

I just found out because of a tip sent to me by a member. (Thanks) With so much news happening this month I have been sorely missing the opportunity to hear what all y'all are thinking about it.

Hi Kieth, IMO it would have to be an independently-minded AG; not Ms. Bondi. Jerry Baumchen

So it would appear that, "President Trump’s sweeping agenda took its first hit Thursday, when a federal judge put a temporary hold on his birthright citizenship executive order." Perhaps if there were an AG, they would have explianed it to him.

My signature line used to read, "Everyone is trying so hard to be heard that no one is listening." It fell on deaf ears.

Thanks I’ll be watch it. I really don’t like religion, but honestly one of the benefits is community spirit. Covid and working from home hasn’t helped either. I mostly work from home and only recently realised how little I leave the house and socialise these days.

Speaking of divided by extremism, I just finished watching the Netflix documentary "Join or Die," which is the movie-ization of the book Bowling Alone, about how the reduction in civic engagement (as evidenced by the smaller numbers in all kinds of fraternal organizations, as well as churches) is correlated quite convincingly with a rise in extremism. And how this also played out in a similar fashion during the Gilded Age. And it makes a certain amount of sense; if kids learn how to deal with each other by having siblings and friends, it seems as though adults could learn as much by having friends they kinda-sorta HAVE to deal with, as opposed to virtual "friends" who can be unfriended, ghosted, or simply ignored when they piss you off. Personally, I think the rise in suburbs and "every man is an individual" ethos also contributes, as does, of course, the rise of the internet. So I'll join a club or two. Wendy P.

I believe the announcement to sell came in October. WIth the more than usual nastiness that occurred in this last election cycle; I had pretty much resigned myself to leaving anyway. People that we know/knew and spent time with hurling insults at each other like some political camel-spitting contest became too much. There was a time where we educated each other on our positions instead of hurling prejoratives. It became more toxic than usual. Before it closed, a couple of posters implied they could meet at BlueSky. I will peek in at times, but will not participate in the vile. Be well.

I thought that my wife would feel flattered when I told her that I’d only had sex with 3 women in my life. Maybe I shouldn't have told her that she was the 2nd.

Apparently, Meso is runnning it, based on his post in reddit, "I used to run the site for a decade" [paraphrase]. and announcing the new domain name. Sometimes, it's an IT/IP timing issue. He couldn't do anything until everything was finalized. My suspicion is, he put it back mostly as a legacy informational site and for that - my thanks.

Apparently the whole site still lives, but very few people are aware of it. I wonder who's running it and why they didn't say anything. Looks like you won last post, and despite my ribbing, Ian won first post back.

Would you lend your friend your airplane without first checking that she is legal to fly it?
