3 pointsIndigent doesn’t fairly describe the many millions of illegals working in important industries, especially construction, every day. I’m not in favor of open borders or birthright citizenship. But I’d rather not demonize those who put food on my table or fix the roof over my head when an absolute asshole of a billionaire is on offer for the task.

2 pointsHave you ever met a gun owner who didn't think of themselves as "special"?
-
2 pointsTurns out that in the past 12 months the USA under Biden deported more illegals than Trump did in any year of his presidency, 271,484. The previous highest was in 2014, under Obama. Yet people like JB, BH, etc have swallowed Trump's lies hook, line and sinker.
-
2 pointslol, your country just got bought by an illegal immigrant from South America. After all that macho talk about how you will fight for freedom, fight against oppression, you just bent over, bit the pillow and gave it all away like a cheap hooker.

1 pointWe have two cars - a Tesla model S (which Amy gets of course) and an 8 year old Prius Prime. I last filled it in November of 2023 after a trip to Vegas for work. Since then I haven't filled it, and I still have 1/8 of a tank left. So looks like I will make it all the way through 2024 without buying gas once. It should be noted that this is NOT advised - Toyota recommends you fill the tank at least once every 6 months, and that if you go a long time without getting gas, you keep the tank as full as possible to reduce water accumulation. But once I got to 3/4 of a tank and it was already May I wanted to see if I could make it with no gas for the year.

1 pointI can't wait until the Department of Governmental Efficiency is going through tens of billions a year, and claiming that they can make government even more efficient if they can just get two billion more.

1 pointI neither need nor want committees to make my decisions for me. However, for the vast majority I think any committee or even a bingo tumbler with answers written on the balls is a better solution than trusting their judgements.

1 pointNope. Implemented by the Biden Administration. Some fun facts in the treaty that Trump negotiated: 1) Trump, the "king of the deal," let the Taliban keep many of our weapons there, because they said they would use them to stop terrorism. Seriously. Trump believed that. The actual wording said that the Taliban would use them to "prevent any group or individual in Afghanistan from threatening the security of the United States and its allies." 2) The very same "king of the deal" released 5000 Taliban terrorists we had arrested. In return the Taliban released 1000 of ours. Great deal, eh? 3) There was a provision that if the US was not out by the deadline, the Taliban was allowed to attack our troops - again, under the terms of the treaty that Trump negotiated. Now, let's all imagine what you would have said if Biden had refused the worst parts of the treaty, the Taliban had attacked as a result and killed a few soldiers, then waved the treaty around saying they were justified. You and yours would have spent the next four years posting "INCOMPETENT BIDEN SAID TALIBAN COULD KILL TROOPS."

1 pointBasically it said that money is protected speech, and therefore the wealthy can spend unlimited money on elections. So we end up with Government of the people by the billionaires for the billionaires.

1 pointI'm the gardener and I hate that stupid rock. There used to be a hedgerow there to hide the parked vehicles from the view of the golfers. Grew like a weed so I hacked it out. I just tell people it's a weather rock. The truck is for utility and towing. It's convenient to load up your yard waste and head to the recycling garage. The Z was just a fun on a whim purchase a few years back. It absolutely screams.......old man car. lol The boat...you know about the why's and how's of that kind of stuff. I agree that many are drowning in car payments to look good. Those 84 month financing chickens will come home to roost. I'm not against an EV. The network in suburbia Ohio isn't as robust as in the cities and I fear what will happen to Reddie Kilowatt if I plug in at home. How does one figure costs for a home setup? I'm headed to CA next week and will finally get a chance to drive a Tesla. Ridden in them many times. My son suggested wearing a MAGA hat in downtown Mountainview. I'm not that brave. As an aside, I'm going to miss this place. It's the one place I can go to decipher the news and gain access to viewpoints most people today lack. And John...I have a timeshare jet that I share with a couple hundred different people.

1 pointTwo guys on a subway: One shows the other a picture of his wife, and says, "Isnt she Beautiful?!" The other says, "If you think she's beautiful, you should see MY wife." "Is she a Model?", the one asks? "Oh, No." The other says, "She's an Optician!"

1 pointIn front of my vineyard, small though it may be. I do like small ICE vehicles. My truck is not visible. I don't have a problem with anyone wanting to drive whatever kind of vehicle they want.

1 pointIllegal’s can’t access welfare and generally have to work to pay their bills, as fact that’s lost on you it seems. Seems your one billionaire is doing a bloody good job of putting stress on 800 000 federal workers though, but he’s rich and white so it’s ok.

1 pointThis is interesting... The parachute card for Hayden's.. Tan civilian rig left in plane. It is described on the card as.. MAKE.. Pioneer (I confirmed that it is a P2-B-24 civilian, not on card) TYPE.. 26' - Ripstop Conical (note, no make of canopy listed) S/N.. 226 Date.. Sept 1957 Packed.. May 21, 1971 Rigger's# 1579638 by EJ Cossey The missing chute's card was found in the back chute left behind with the following data in the FBI files. MAKE.. Pioneer (Described as Olive Drab military, no container model) TYPE.. 24' Ripstop Conical Steinthal (Canopy manufacturer noted as Steinthal) S/N.. 60-9707 (60 leading the S/N number is consistent with the year for Steinthal canopies) Date.. July 1960 Packed.. May 21, 1971 Rigger's# 1579638 by EJ Cossey Hayden got the two chutes packed by Cossey together on May 21, 1971. This is Hayden's missing back pack rig and the one Cooper used. So far, so good.. The problem was that the missing chute has both Pioneer and Steinthal whereas the found civilian chute only has Pioneer. Here is why.. both the canopy and container for Hayden's found chute were Pioneer.. whereas the missing Cooper chute was a Pioneer container and Steinthal canopy.. I found a similar packing card with the make and model on it, P1-B-24, but only Pioneer written.. Why because it had a Pioneer container and Pioneer canopy.. So, the reason Cooper's missing rig has both Pioneer and Steinthal is because the container and canopy are different manufacturers while for Hayden's recovered chute they are the same. Both of Hayden's rigs were Pioneer containers.. we do not know the model of the container Cooper used, Cossey's description and the missing rig packing card are irreconcilable. Both can't be true.

1 pointNo, as I have said many times Hayden's tan chute left in the plane is a P2-B-24. It is a CIVILIAN model sold to the public though some military pilots did use it. It goes back to about 1939 and is NOT a military rig. We know Hayden's missing chute taken by Cooper was military because it was olive drab.

1 pointThat was Trump. He made the agreement. Fun fact - Trump agreed to leave the Taliban all that military equipment because the Taliban promised to use it to . . . fight terrorism. Really. That's how "smart" Trump is.
-
1 pointHe did mean South Africa, and do you have any answer for his substance? If not, how about if I ask what's your thought on how Musk appears to have bought his way into power in the government. Have you ever read anything by the Founding Fathers and the writing of the Constitution? They weren't for that kind of thing. Wendy P.
-
1 pointAnd when your military left, they left the Taliban stronger and in more complete control of more of the country than they ever had before you turned up. That's got nothing to do with Biden. That's 20 years of abject political and military failure (though certainly more political) that was literally signed and sealed before Biden took office, he was just set up to be the one who delivered it.

1 pointThree dogs are in the waiting room at the vet's, talking about why they are there. The first one, a chihuahua, says "I'm the world's greatest barker. I bark at everything. Non stop. You name it, I bark at it. My owner thinks if vet cuts my balls off I'll stop barking, so here I am." The second one, a labrador, says "I'm the world's greatest digger. I can dig holes in anything. My backyard looks like the surface of the moon. But I went too far and dug a hole in the floor. My owner thinks if the vet cuts my balls off, I'll stop digging. So here I am." The third one, a great dane, says "I'm the world's greatest humper. I hump everything. The couch. The chairs. Lamp posts. But this morning my owner bent down to pick something up and I couldn't resist, I jumped on and started humping her." "Oh," said the chihuahua. "So she wants to have your balls cut off too?" "No, I'm getting my nails clipped."

1 pointFormer governor of Maryland reports sighting a drone swarm. It turns out to be the constellation Orion. Gullible morons! https://patch.com/maryland/edgewater/late-night-host-pokes-fun-astronomers-debunk-hogans-drone-claims

1 pointProbably not. I suspect 100% of the people in the government have no idea what's going on. But there are two possible explanations: 1) They are aliens / Chinese drones / chemtrail spraying mind control drones (pick your conspiracy theory) 2) They are airplanes, ordinary agricultural, survey and hobbyist drones and helicopters, being seen more often now because it gets dark earlier and people can't tell one set of green and red lights from another. Occam says they are #2 unless proven otherwise.

1 pointThe way you talk about being in the military and bragging reminds me of when my son was 15/16 and wanted to join the military and be some kind of Rambo. As he’s gone through the special ops selection and training he talks a lot less about guns and what a hero he is. In fact the arrogance is gone and replaced by a quiet confidence and you would be hard pressed to get him talking about ‘work’ these days. If you’ve got to tell people you have the skills, you probably don’t.

1 pointWell, to be fair, the US didn't get 'run out'. Trumpty Dumpty surrendered and ran away.

1 pointOh yeah, I'm liking that, a very good excuse to go last! I used to ask Steve Fielding "how come you get to go last all the time". his reply "It's my load" I am real close, I can get a smaller rig if I use the Pilot ZPX but I'd rather have the sabre 3, better lower end and it's only one size larger, I'll look for you at Perris.
