2 pointsLate at night the husband is browsing porn websites on his computer, thinking that his wife is sound asleep. The wife wakes up to go to the bathroom, and then without saying a word (and without the husband noticing) stands behind his back observing. All of a sudden, he hears her say: “Go back… another page. There! Those are the curtains I want for our bedroom.”

1 pointSeems like a good place to pose this question: Please post your favorite nicknames for the president elect. We have Mango Mussalini, Sweet Potato Hitler, etc. Mine is Tangerine Palpatine.

1 pointGeorger, Thanks for mentioning The Standard Generalized Theory of Existence on Earth and the information in items 1 and * above. Perhaps some of the newbies here will begin to understand that most Nobel Prize winning physicists agree that water runs downhill, at least in the Portland/Vancouver area. Good work!

1 pointLike - charging power or political power? Zero in both cases. Yeah, I don't support him either, and will be getting rid of that stock over the next few years. There's too much of it to dump all at once, but there are a few tricks I can use to get rid of some of it. And selling after a 224x rise is not the worst financial decision in any case.

1 pointI don't - I have sons. But let's assume you have daughters. Sounds like your argument is "I'm not going to let some sick trans person - who is not really a pedophile but is similarly twisted - into the bathroom with my daughter! Because that woman is really a MAN who could harm her!" The part you overlook is if you go with "bathroom has to match your birth sex" to "protect" your daughter, you are requiring this guy to follow your innocent, fragile daughter into the bathroom. You really want that?

1 pointIt’s also never zero whenever he allows her to step outside the house, especially in a city (or any place with lots of man-oriented jobs, like oilfields and places with lots of construction). The way to absolutely protect your daughter is never to let her leave the house, and maybe make her wear lots of clothing when she does. You can also teach her to advocate for herself, and to protect herself. Learn her surroundings, and know where she’s going. Instead of being in charge of her protection forever, give her the tools to protect herself. She can use those for a lifetime, and rely on herself, rather than a series of men whose motives she’s always going to question if she’s always “needed protection.” You can’t control men — that doesn’t make it OK to control women. And it doesn’t make it reasonable to trample all over one person’s feelings to protect your own. I think you said your daughter went into the military. She’s far more vulnerable there to assault than in a ladies’s room with a transgender person. Look at the numbers Wendy P

1 pointOut of interest how much of that $420 is buying access to power? I know you’re a big advocate of renewable energy, and your investment in Tesla sounds like it was long before the insanity, but I can’t stand Musk and on principle will not support his businesses.

1 pointHi Mark, About 40 yrs ago, somewhat drunk, I walked into one, by mistake. Wasn't there to use a urinal & no women around; just did my thing & got out as quick as I could. No harm - no foul, Jerry Baumchen

1 pointWhat I will miss the most are the discussed in intricate detail explanations of physics that violated so many laws of physics.

1 pointWhatever you do, do NOT ever watch the Incredibles! In that woke movie, Bob Parr (former superhero) works for an evil CEO, Gilbert Huph, who demands he deny claims to all the covered people in his medical insurance company, Insuricare. In one scene Parr is talking to an elderly woman who is on a fixed income and cannot afford her pills unless Insuricare covers them. He grants her claim. Huph yells at him for handing out money for their claims. In a second scene, Parr is talking to elderly claimants, telling them the loopholes they can use to get their claims granted. Huph again comes out, has Parr come into his office and starts screaming at Parr for working for the wrong people. He should be working for Huph, not those suckers who have Insuricare coverage! Huph starts to threaten Parr with being fired, but before he can finish his sentence, Parr grabs him by the neck and throws him through a wall. Huph lands motionless on the floor. In the next scene Huph is in intensive care with a broken neck and Parr is fired. This is the event that begins Parr's return to being a crimefighting superhero. Can you believe they show this sort of violence to KIDS?

1 pointI am not all all appalled by some political violence. The American revolution, the French Revolution, June 6, 1944, and countless others Gandhi even created much violence despite being the pacifist but much of it for a greater cause its only political violence when you are on the losing side of it.

1 pointHopefully not! But that doesn't make his killing any less of a bad thing. Both killings were horrible even if both had some good outcomes. (Whether or not Thompson's killing does actually result in anything good long term still remains to be seen, of course.)

1 pointThe sneaky wording on attorney Paul Van Der Velde suggests that he is lying about collecting the $40 million. Has an attorney ever lied before? Hah! Hah!

1 pointOr, for the sake of the Christmas season, and to celebrate the end of DZ.com, our fellow dz.commers could refrain from PA's to prevent you from having to do even more work. It's a thought. We could all walk away from here with fond memories of each other or a so glad that shit is over thought. Ya know, Primacy/Recency.

1 pointYou mean you’re a soft woke liberal now? Hopefully you don’t need to intervene much, most of us have shared this forum a long time, despite differences. Would be nice to end it without civil war

1 pointThe problem is all the suppression and hatred being thrown at this small group. If they are so small and unimportant why are so many laws being aimed against them?
-
1 pointIts going to be a shame to see the site go. It was fun while it was here and I had a great time meeting a lot of you!
-
1 pointI think that is unfortunate. I would hope that you'd be happier about your success. Indeed.
