stop bringing facts to an ideological cult..... It would not matter if trump was raping their children in front of the them, bent over their own couch..... They would say 'well THAT guy raped people too!' The level of their depravity and dishonesty about what they represent is truly a cult masterpiece.

Rich, if you can't articulate the truth yourself, why exactly should I trust your estimation? Wendy P.

where is the laptop? Apparently you have had access to it for years now, EVERYONE knows that it is full of damning information and EVERYONE knows that it exposes the biden crime family, and yet.... nothing? How gullible are you anyway? What happened to the dossier? Nothing. What is happening with Covid policy? Oh yeah, that is over and done with now that one million americans are dead.... but you seem to gloss over that to discuss 'policy' Good grief man, you are pretty deep in the rabbit hole and seemingly unable to speak in clear thoughts.... you sounds just like..... wait!!! wait!!! the guy you voted for?

As someone hit from behind and knocked into line twists with collapsed end cells at 100' agl by a guy spiraling through the pattern at Z Hills (to get on the next load), and then managing to land without breaking anything, I was charmed when TK presented me with a Z-Hills carabiner watch as a thank you for not contributing to the DZ's accident data. The photo taken from the ground even made it into USPA's Safety Day ad the following year.

It was. I was just trying to clarify my position on it. It may well be that the 'brush with death' survivor needs a good talking to, some remedial training and perhaps some time off to contemplate what he did wrong. It may be that he wound up in a situation that 'just happened' and he was lucky & determined & skilled enough to escape. And, as was pointed out, much of this would be determined by the survivors attitude & opinion of it. Personally, anytime I've come close to becoming a statistic (never that close, but there have been a couple), I would sit down, go over what happened, ask myself what I could or should have done differently and how to avoid it in the future. A couple times I grabbed the S&T A and went over it with him, asking for his input. I've known jumpers who just 'laughed it off', ignored what they did and kept on keeping on. Those folks usually ended up going upwards on my 'bounce bingo' list. I've also known a couple that came to the realization that they could actually die doing this. They knew it intellectually, but hadn't fully internalized that reality. And they quit. Personally (again), if it was me in the situation, I would accept a sticker reading 'Enjoying the Bonus Days' with good humor. I don't know it I would put it on my helmet or not, that's something I'd have to think about. But as a 'congratulations for surviving something really close', I would appreciate it. But not everyone would.

And his gullible supporters will believe it, repeat it, and before long it will be 'gospel'.

Some don’t. Quite a few don’t care as long as their pet desires are promised service. Jaybird is far from stupid or ignorant, same with Brent, and I’d posit the same about Ron, airdvr, and some of our other correspondents here. They will all, after their own fashion, succeed and possibly flourish during Trump v.2 as will you and I and many other lefties here because we have the tools. Because of those folks, not the dimwits who will suffer and still blame us, I’m thinking we may already be a decade into the American 100 year Right. Four more years of Trump, then eight of Don Jr. and a future Mitch McConnell clone might seem a relief.

As a very experienced bicyclist, both drivers and cyclists are dumbfucks. The cyclicalists think they own the roads. Stupid. regardless of the laws. They don't understand they will lose every single time. Drivers are so distracted as to be dangerous in general. Add an ambulance driver....

I don’t think I will ever understand how Trump managed to take over the whole US establishment.

Putin started another war, he has been assassinating opponents domestically and in other countries. The FSB are the main suspects in the bombings of US and Canadian bound DHL cargo aircraft. The FSB are the main suspects in the recent severing of two undersea internet cables in the Baltic sea. Yet trump fawns over Putin every chance he can.

That's what I was talking about. They were not worse, and your example is a great one. Gary Hart had an alleged affair. It was never proven, but there were press reports about it. His campaign also owed about $4 million. Based on those two issues, as publicized by the press, his campaign was sunk; most people did not want to vote for someone like that. Trump had three well documented affairs. One was proven in court. The other two resulting in his marrying the woman he was having an affair with. He has cheated on all three wives - again, very publicly. Trump is an adjudicated rapist, and has stated he enjoys sexual assault. 26 other women state they have been sexually assaulted by him. Trump is a 34 times convicted felon, convicted of crimes of election interference. Trump owes billions to people ranging from banks to contractors to individuals that he has never paid back. He forfeited on a $280 million loan - then sued the people who gave him the loan, stating they made a mistake in loaning it to him. And not only did all that not sink his campaign, it increased his popularity. It has often been said that it's inconceivable how people could support Hitler, or Mussolini, or Lenin, or Stalin. How could that happen? Now we know.

It may be time to admit that conservatives have won. As rushmc has bragged and trumpeted several times. Walmart rolls back DEI programs after right-wing backlash "The company said Monday it is ending racial equity training programs for staff and evaluating programs designed to increase supplier diversity. Walmart has worked to increase the number of suppliers that are at least 51% owned or managed by a woman, minority, veteran or someone who is LGBTQ in recent years. The company is also reviewing all funding of Pride and other events and monitoring its online marketplace to remove sexual or transgender products marketed to children. Walmart also said it will not extend its Center for Racial Equity, a five-year, $100 million philanthropic commitment the company made in 2020 to address the root causes of gaps in outcomes of African Americans in education, health, criminal justice and other areas." All after a conservative activist targeted Walmart. This follows Budweiser, Deere, Tractor Supply, HD, etc. Conservatives have the courts, the presidency, the house the senate and will appoint untold thousands of radical judges to the bench over the next four years.

Have you asked your friend how he feels about what happened? Everyone handles this kind of thing in their own way.

DEI is toxic and divisive and a lot of other awful stuff. Y'all can't even admit that adult human female is a good definition of a woman. Too afraid to offend your rabid progressive lunatic fringe base. Here in the real world, your disinformation campaign was ignored. You LOST.

How could a person be against apple pie and baseball? DEI, as it is in the real world, is awful and will rightly DIE along with other wokeness. DEI was intended to replace the meritocracy, which is a horrible goal. Democracy at work, truth to power, elections have consequences.

Yes, wing loading is my PRiMARY concern, I'm 84 and my days of jumping those hard opening and hard landing canopies is long over. I'm exiting at 190/200 and the smallest I want to go is 150.
