Well the blame really belongs to the British they came up with the idea of a Jewish state. Then sold the whole idea to the UN. Arab states all rejected it and they wanted to appeal to to the International Court of Justice. But they needed UN approval to do so and that was rejected by the UN. Britain was the administrators of Palestine. So the UK(now) and the UN came up with a suggested map: Which was again rejected by the Arab states. I don't think there was ever a finalized map but i could be wrong. When Israel declared independence Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria all attacked Israel. Israel kicked their collective asses and the rest is history. So the blame really belongs to the UK and the UN. for the whole mess.If it can be called blame as such.

Evidently Iran wants Harris to win as stolen-hacked trump campaign documents were offered to the Harris campaign staff. Meanwhile Putin and Russia are all in for a trump win with multiple troll farms working 24/7. In other news the US stock markets are at record highs, inflation at four year lows, full employment, gas prices at new lows, a 1/2% interest rate cut. Sorry Brent but Bideneconomics is clearly working wonders.

They are trying to come as close as they can get away with to committing ethnic cleansing. They have good reason to consider it to be the only answer to an existential problem. The last chance Israel had to find peace was killed along with Rabin nearly 30 years ago. This conflict is going to drag on until one side or the other ends it in a nuclear war.

Jerry, I don't find any humor in this. If Israel is behind this, and it's only an if out of courtesy, they knowingly set off hundreds of small bombs designed to maim and kill understanding fully that innocents would be injured or killed in the operation. That is completely indefensible and by supporting Israel we, by extension, own a part of it. The United States needs to publicly condemn this act of indiscriminate terror and privately tell Israel they are now on a very short leash.

Which is something he will never, ever do. He will deny, delay and distract. He's done it before. Indeed, he will consider it a victory if it bothers you. Given that, I'd suggest there are better ways to spend your time.

They need to just get over it. The reality is that it's always been Jewish land: it is written.

On 14 May 1948, Israel declared independence, and war began the next day. 750,000 Palestinians who had lived on that land fled or were expelled from their homes. Neither they nor their descendants have been allowed by Israel to return. The Palestinians' displacement has led to years of upheaval. If only every invaded nation would just roll over and surrender already.

You forgot about the Chinese & Japanese. The racism against the Chinese was probably the strongest, and culminated with the Chinese Exclusion Act. While there was widespread opposition to and discrimination against various ethnic groups, that was the first major law restricting a particular ethnic group. The 'Gentlemen's Agreement' in 1907 effectively barred Japanese. And, of course, the internment camps in WW2.

And yet the numbers are overwhelmingly one sided. What is it exactly that makes you think they really are trying everything they can?

And the Israeli track record is spotless? Do you happen to recall how much the nation of Israel paid for the land they now occupy and to whom?
  15. 1 point
Disagree. These weren't random articles bought at the local Best Buy. They were a bulk order by Hezbollah for its militia members to communicate. Hezbollah is a militia at war with Israel and that regularly fires rockets at civilian targets in northern Israel. As such, its communications equipment is a legitimate military target IMO.

it's war against terrorists so I do not actually give a fuck. It is TOTALLY defensible.

So when Israel does it it's not terrorism? Imagine if Hezbollah pulled the same trick.
