To quote song-writer Steve Earl: " ... I enrolled on my birthday, they take the white trash first here anyways." It never ceases to amaze me how good the upper classes are at convincing working class young men to do their bleeding for them during wartime.

Yes, I realised after I replied to him this is his ‘safe space’ and as critics corner needs to be only posts knocking her, or they are “off topic”

A lady at a retirement home sees a fellow retiree sitting outside all by his lonesome. She joins him and asks, "May I sit next to you?" He replies, "Only if you hold my dick." The woman is shocked and appalled but then thinks about how lonely she is, and slowly comes to term with the act and decides to acquiesce. She sits next to him, holds his penis, and puts a blanket on their laps to hide the deed. She enjoys this arrangement and its goes on for a week. On the weekend, her daughter comes and takes her away for a day or so on a recreational excursion. When the woman returns back she sees another woman sitting next to the man with the blanket on their laps. Knowing what they are doing she yells, "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!? WHAT DOES SHE HAVE THAT I DON'T HAVE?!?" The man smiles and replies, "Parkinson's"

Since Cooper specified the aircraft configuration, the issue was always about fuel. If you read the transcripts of the communications between the aircraft and the technical people in Minneapolis, the crew was only advised when they were in the Portland area that they would have enough fuel to reach Reno. Prior to Portland, the crew had been repeatedly passing fuel consumption and fuel onboard information to MSP.

Brent and Winsor think she's awful, incompetent, a looming disaster, and the worst of our choice: high praise indeed.

Biggest praise: She's not a narcissist/psychopath with onset dementia, and untreated dyslexia.

Trump repeatedly makes statements that, with minimal effort, can be shown to be falsehoods (aka "lies"). He is a proven pathological liar. It is remarkable that there are so many gullible people who will believe anything he says.

I’ve just watched Walz’s rally in Nebraska. I’d say he is probably the first politician I’ve really liked and who comes across as authentic. His clever little jabs to wind up Trump and gaslight him are gold, crowd sizes and McFlurry machines in particular. Key points that stood out for me, are the way he empowers individuals and makes it about family. How he showed respect for traditional republicans as people of values and integrity and separated them from Trump and Vance etc. Lastly and importantly taking head on the issue of Trump and his ilk having tried to overthrow an election and that are planning to do it again.

Back in 2010 people were only just coming to terms with cloud storage and I’m pretty sure your average punter couldn’t even explain it coherently today or understand how it really works. Without watching the full context of the video, I will withhold judgement as to whether she didn’t understand it or was simplifying it for the sake of the discussion. It sounds like it was a talk on the legal landscape and therefore probably not the place for a highly technical discussion. I’d love to see the OP explain it in lay terms to us in less than 2 minutes. In reality I think even people like normiss may struggle (not knocking your skills Mark!) On the same note I really doubt the OP understands what a policy is, or could coherently explain it.

But they all have some socialist policies. It's not an all-or-nothing thing. And Kamala can't, single-handed, make the country socialist no matter how hard she tried. There's that whole Congress, Constitution, elections, and Supreme Court thing to contend with. So just as you assure us that Trump can't run us into the ground in 4 years, neither can Kamala. But Trump is promising to set the stage to increase the personal power of the President, especially if he's Republican, and Kamala is more respectful of our democratic republic's systems. Wendy P.

I have worked with women who went below the radar by playing the airhead Barbie doll type, but actually had minds like steel traps. I get no sense that Harris is pretending to be a moron - her track record makes clear that what you see is what you get. Her opponent is beneath contempt by any measure, but she is just as bad when all is said and done. The US of A is an adolescent society as empires go, so it's useful to consider what kind of ghastly "leadership" has been survivable historically. The policies supported by Harris have been the kiss of death to every nation that has put them in practice. On the other hand you have a sociopathic candidate driven solely by greed and self interest, and it is thus possible that he will avoid killing the goose that laid the golden egg. With Harris our goose is cooked Either way, this election goes beyond 'hold your nose and vote,' it is one of having barf bags available at the voting booths. BSBD, Winsor

I didn’t realise that thanks. Well I’ve got zero interest in wasting my time, I enjoy seeing other points of view when they are authentic, but trolling benefits nobody but the troll.

It started in Elsinore on the Labor Day Weekend. Everybody with a SCR number wrote it down on an entry slip and there was a drawing. each 8 names were a team and if I remember correctly we had three jumps each and the best times were the winner. Teams were judged by telemeter. No show exit and time started with the first out the door.

Right - so the Democrat party is so racist (after voting for Obama twice which proves they're definitely not racist) that it wouldn't choose Kamala but also so beholden to DEI that they couldn't not choose Kamala. Did any of that sound good in your head before you said it out loud?

Nope. She went to Central and South America and worked out deals with the countries from which people were fleeing. I don't have the reference available at the moment, but I have heard reports that people seeking asylum at our southern border has been cut significantly due to these efforts.

But the funny thing is that I’m no longer using it. Explanation: In past I was reluctant to fall on the back with jets running. I built that automatic launching shelf with aim to drop me down straight on the belly. But it did not happen. Every time I found myself on the back right after the drop. So I decided to accept it. I practiced uncontrolled fall out on the back from Skyvan, until I obtained a good habits to make quick and controlled transition. From there, automatic launching shelf was no longer required. I replaced it with smaller equivalent permanently mounted shelf. I kneel on it, engines facing outwards, start engines, and then flip myself backwards, like scuba divers from the boat. In two seconds I’m back on the belly. It works pretty well, so this issue is closed.

Agreed Trump is FUBAR. I wish the Democrats didn't try to make him look good by comparison.
