Thanks for your perspective; it’s a really important one. Yeah, I started in college, but it was static line, and student jumps were well under $20 US. While that translates to more than $20 now, it doesn’t translate to anything remotely like the $100+ of AFF. Wendy P.

Equipment advancements have had a whole lot to do with our advancements in safety. We all say we want safety. The real question is what are we willing to pay for it?

Hi Larry, In '64, when I started, it was $5.25 to go to 12.5. Jerry Baumchen PS) Comparing wages/salaries from '64 to today, jump prices are less today.

I think Biden has too much respect for the office to make a mockery of it. Respect isn't something much understood these days.

The nominee is never wanted by the majority of the population. The nominee has never been democratically elected.

another example of failed representation. Supreme Court disapproval ratings are up across the country, the vast majority of americans would like to see some changes certainly on ethics, and it will NEVER happen, because political parties make the decisions and use it as a power tool, not a constitutional or democratic tool or a justice tool. This is not the 'representative government' that we are supposed to have. just like abortion and gun safety.... it will never happen.

Thank you. That gives me some context and understanding into where you are coming from. Now I'm reading up on both Jungle Jim and Farm Gate.

It was often called the Jesus String or the Jesus Rope in my circles. A friend of mine put his own onto a Starlite container after a notable (cleared at 400') container lock on a Piglet in our area. Me, I lived dangerously and didn't. Wendy P.

All part of the escalating cost of skydiving that is driving young people away from the sport.

He isn't. He is asking for legislation that would: Not make president immune from criminal prosecution Term limits on SCOTUS justices A binding code of conduct I think this is smart politics. Let the Republicans state they are against these things. I think most Americans would be on board with these three items.

Well, according to you, OJ didn't kill his wife since he was never convicted of murder. I don't know about "everyone" - but two separate and independent juries certainly thought he forcibly penetrated her against her will.

Ahh, so you do know the difference between sex education and porn.

Yeah, so for my three lines posted - between Sky & you; I'd have to spend the whole day answering eleven questions of taunt. It would degrade into a silly argument. Not going to do it. You guys know the difference between sex education and porn.

I thought pornography was defined as anything that gives the judge an erection.

Not sure which camp you'd put me in; teaching sex education in class is one thing. Pornography is another.

However, the working stiff at 35 years old making 37-65K/annum with 2 kids is not. They're 10K in CC debt, have no savings and an average $25,000 of vehicles at a cost of about $600/month, plus insurance, plus gas, healthcare costs, etc. Most on here have done well for themselves. But, I doubt they would enjoy the above scenario.

Videos are better than most posters provide - at least the posters I haven't killfiled. Come to think of it, those in my killfile were given more to abuse than scholarly support for their positions. You are wrong about nobody viewing the videos. You don't want to watch them? Xin loi, nobody says you have to. As far as CRT goes, the original sources reveal it to be the worst sort of divisive identity politics with an overlay of Marxism, bound together with hand waving. Like KKK ideology, regardless of the merits of any of its claims it is fundamentally racist drivel, and both are beneath contempt for the same reasons. If you're cool with either, that is your call. Having said that, speaking in defense of CRT or the KKK will elicit a similar response. BSBD, Winsor
