Biden just announced he would not seek re-election. I gotta say I did not think he would do this. I thought we'd see another Ginsberg. Good for him for making a decision for the good of the country, and not just for his own personal good.

City Attorney & District Attorney of San Francisco. Attorney General of California (elected twice). But she has no 'experience or capability to problem solve or manage a complex task' Sure. Right.

    She's already working on that:

I'm no fan of Pence - but reaching out to someone with more experience than himself during a time of crisis is a point in his favor, not against him. Being able to ask for (and take) advice is something that's sorely lacking these days in politics.

Yeah, think of it as a new presidential reality game of "Survivor - White House Edition."

A fair opponent for Trump then

I've worked with people with advanced degrees whose abysmal grasp of the fundamentals was downright stunning. She's a moron.

It was intended as a joke about fake tits....it made sense in my head at the time, but re-reading it with the benefits of hindsight and sobriety it reads like I'm disputing the authenticity of the sculpture.....sorry.

Well, someone who meets the Midwest White Guy specification is Pete Buttigieg, and I'll bet that would also make their heads smoke.

Right, let them find out at the Utqiagvik post office.

Hi Keith, Re: Promoting VP Harris as the key replacement is more of a way to keep the PAC funds It looks like Harris's legal team has filed the necessary paperwork to secure the PAC funds. Re: I do not think she's the best person for the job Nor do I. However, as I watch a CBS News Special Report, it looks like the party is uniting behind her. Probably to prevent a blood-letting within the party. Apparently, she is staying quiet today. One news-type said that she might be waiting for Biden's speech to the country within the next few days. Update: Apparently, the latest news from the Obama's is not anything like an endorsement of Harris. It's going to be fun, Jerry Baumchen PS) With this fast-moving news event, 'apparently' is my new buzzword of the moment.

It ain't what folks holding tea cups want to know but there are times when nothing less than a complete asshole will do.

Be it Harris or Hillary Clinton you can trust republicans to identify a woman as incompetent, inexperienced, a moron, etc. Its like ringing the bell at Pavlov's feeding.

Afternoon, Jerry Just some random thoughts - Promoting VP Harris as the key replacement is more of a way to keep the PAC funds and I do not think she's the best person for the job (i.e., Border Czar). Whitmer - I just don't know. The Democrat party is going to have to take into account the southern Democrats are Billy Joe Bobs and I'm not sure they're ready for a female President. Or a Kamala/Whitmer ticket. IMO - the best strategic plan would be a Kelly/Moore ticket. Let's keep in mind the number of Trump dissatisfied Republicans and a way to shift then as a FOR instead of an AGAINST rather then being like me and not voting. I can easily jump out of the door for a Kelly/Moore ticket.

I'll tell you my main reason that I cannot vote for Trump. When you pressure your VP to not certify the election - you've chosen to go against the most core democratic principles in our nation and tried to turn it into a dictatorship.

I'd be for that 100%. But it will probably be Harris/X.

I think Bill Clinton already did that.

What leads you to that conclusion? Could it be that your news choices focus only on the negative? Wendy P.

The implication is unearned privilege. While Vance appears to be moderately bright, Kamala is a moron and represents the downside of affirmative action. I've known enough people who got where they were to fill quotas that I empathize with those who had to demonstrate conclusively that they met any applicable standards. I'm all for providing equal opportunity to anyone with the ability and drive to take on a particular role, be it PIC, MD, CEO or whatever. I staunchly oppose quotas that supercede merit.

To remove the foam, you need to remove the binding tape from one edge and vacuum out the deteriorated foam. Then you need a master rigger to sew it back together. Best to get the same rigger to do the disassembly. It is a complex sewing task best left to riggers with many years of factory sewing experience.

He didn't 'make any efforts'. . He only did his job. Liz Cheney (and Adam Kinzinger) knew their careers were doomed but they did the right thing anyway.
