Well, considering that the head of the Republican party and defacto nominee for President is very clearly racist, sexist misogynistic and doing his damndest to imitate Hitler, it's hard not to. Considering that a bunch of his sycophants, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives (you know, 3rd in line for the Presidency) went to New York to support the Mango Mussolini, it's hard not to. Considering that the Rs themselves have ostracized anyone who criticizes the Orange Idiot, calling them 'traitors' if they point out how much of a piece of shit Trumpty Dumpty ACTUALLY IS along with calling for him to be held accountable for the CRIMES HE HAS COMMITTED, it's kind of hard not to paint them all with the same (rather broad) brush. I had some brief hopes that the Lincoln Project would take hold. That honorable Republicans would have an 'off ramp' to continue their platform while distancing themselves from the wannabe dictator. A few (a very tiny few) did. The rest fell into lockstep behind their Furher.

And that's what most conservatives will do. But thankfully, not all of them. Someday Trump will be a spent force. Hopefully in a matter of months.

Trump just announced that Putin has agreed to keep an American hostage unless Trump wins the election. Now, even if he is (once again) lying - this means that he is relying on Russian support, real or imagined, to win the election. And he is colluding with Vladimir Putin to keep an American hostage in a foreign country to ensure his win. And this time it's not based on US intelligence or good reporting - it's based on Trump's own words. It's insane that anyone still supports him.

Agreed, and 99% of the protesters I've seen have been doing just that. I've seen signs like "I oppose Hamas, not Palestinians" and the like. That's not antisemitic. I've also seen people criticizing Israel for their attacks - and again that's no more antisemitic than US protesters protesting the Vietnam war, or Biden, are anti-American. There are exceptions, of course. I am sure you can find left-leaning protesters that want Israel eliminated completely, just as we have right wingers who want all Arabs (or Muslims) banned from the US. We even have a poster right here who considers all Muslims mentally ill. But they are in the small, and extreme, minority.

True, but those that aren't are doing a very poor job of dealing with those that are.

Nonverbal cues play a crucial role in detecting sarcasm. They provide valuable information about the speaker’s intentions and emotions. When trying to determine if someone is being sarcastic, pay attention to their facial expressions and body language. Sarcasm is often accompanied by a smirk, raised eyebrows, or a wry smile. These subtle cues can indicate that the speaker is not being sincere and is using sarcasm to convey their true meaning. If you are unsure whether someone is being sarcastic, don’t be afraid to seek clarification. Ask the speaker to clarify their statement or express your uncertainty. This can help prevent misunderstandings and improve communication. https://everydayspeech.com/sel-implementation/reading-between-the-lines-recognizing-sarcasm-in-communication/

As much so as conflating all Republicans as racist, sexist, misogynist or association with Hitler.

And, most of these old farts have known each other for over 20 years. We've skydived together, had children, stayed in touch, bickered with each other, wept at skydiver funerals, and in some cases; loved each other. I wish you the same in life.
