good luck on the GOP ever backing down from the lies and deception. It worked for Hillary back in 2015-2016 - they made her a criminal demon and then not even an LEO investigation at any level once Trump got in office...... and their base is fucking stupid enough to believe anything they tell them.

As much as Mitch McConnell damaged politics, pulled the levers of power to create policies and structure grossly at odd with the democratic will of the people, and fostered the unchecked growth of extremism in the GOP… he is at least a sane person who understands that government is important and at some point you have to be willing to compromise if the only alternative is a government that does not work at all. So while he is a better devil than the ‘burn it all down if we don’t get what we want because total victory is the only thing that matters’ crazy MAGA person who might succeed him, it is also largely his fault that his successor might be such a person.

I enjoyed it. Now, wait for it....the next batch of files will "surprisingly" have his name in them.

OK, let's pump the brakes here. This is how misinformation enters the Vortex and takes on a life of its own. The origin of the "facial tic" notion was CONJECTURE by "Prospector" on the DB Cooper Forum several years ago. It is pure speculation on that person's part and is not based on any actual evidence. That doesn't mean it's not a valuable discussion, but to be clear, it is derived entirely by a supposition by someone, not any actual evidence.

Nonsense. They are our paid employees who are tasked with our safety not using their given powers to advance themselves at the expense of their employers. They are in fact a very unique group of people whose misdeeds absolutely fall into the "thats surely worse" category when they violate our trust. It shouldn't take a second to identify other such groups.

And that's why speedflyers should pick a 90° angle from jumprun. Speedflying is not purely vertical, it does have an (admittedly small) horizontal component.

I had an OG90 in my 306 until it got "lost" after a cutaway. It fitted just right. The 120 is 3 sizes bigger. Sounds to me like trying that combination would be a horrible idea.

Apparently I misread the headline. I never got how Mitch gets elected so much, everyone I know in KY hate him, but he still wins. We could use a good die-off of many in House, Senate and presidential candidates.....

I had the same opinion for quite a few years. Then I got a soft handle on both sides. Unfortunately, I have had about 6 chops since the change to soft handles. However, I have never had an issue with soft handles. Therefore, my opinion has changed. MUCH less of a snag hazard and the actual function of grabbing and pulling to save myself has not changed at all. It was rather easy. I would never go back to such a giant snag hazard. I do understand your opinion, as I once had it, but I will never go back to it. Ody

Obviously as a woman you do not understand the nature of a pissing contest and the need of a man to get the last squirt in.

50 years later what evidentiary value is there in knowing if he had a tic or not. It's past it's usefulness at this point if true.

Don't apologize - I was going for some levity and a bit of humor in my post - but I missed on my delivery, so I'm sorry I was not so overt..... We're good. I think all ideas, notions, conjectures, speculations, and random inputs are welcome here!! Prospector's assertion was interesting. However, I've seen nothing of the 302's or in News print so far attributing any tic to Coops. We can always hold out hope that if we ever receive the handwritten Agent interview notes there may be such a notation. Personally - I've had several episodes of having tics in my life - all being trauma related and stress induced. I think a tic in Coops is certainly within the realm of possible for several reasons. First I have no doubt that Coops has some form of trauma in his life. I'd say that a trauma of some form comes with the territory of a man engaged in such a job. Second a tic as a post traumatic movement in my mind would flair with stress and psychotic episodes. I would certainly believe that Coops was experiencing stress and a psychotic episode before, during and after the event. I don’t think this Job was all about the money. In my mind, Coops was battling some form of inner turmoil surrounding the event. I happen to think that a sense of fantasy, grandeur and his ego compelled him as much as the money. He may have had a need for the money, but to me I want to believe that the job was intoxicating that he was having a manic episode a crisis of self-identity that this job could also fix. I don't believe that these psychotic or manic episodes would rise to the level of medial treatment. That Cooper being the man that he was just sucked it up and went on with life.
