chapter line and verse, which laws on the books are not being followed, with specific examples and then some statistical analysis to demonstrate that 'whatever conclusion' is a widespread or systemic causation of the problems at the border - which you have yet to describe (specifically)

It's with a very heavy heart that I write to say our dear friend and fellow skydiver Henry Butler has passed away. Henry was a longtime Houston jumper who spent many years as an FS competitor and judge. Henry was a Vietnam era U.S. Navy veteran who began jumping in 1996, calling Skydive Houston his home DZ for many years. Most recently he was an active jumper at Skydive Spaceland Houston, where he was always a welcome player in any slot. Solid and dependable described him well in the air and on the ground. He was also a damn good judge, participating in countless competitions and records throughout the years. Above all, Henry was a kind, polite gentleman with a heart of gold. Never an unkind word, and always a positive spirit. A friend to all who knew him. We have truly lost one of the good guys. Henry R. Butler, D-20747, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Tuesday morning at the age of 67. Details on a friends and skydivers remembrance are forthcoming. Please send condolences to his better half Debby Dodge at 6711 Lindayann Lane, Houston 77008 Blue skies, Henry. See you at the debrief.

That's what got us into this mess to begin with. It is perfectly legal to show up in the US and request asylum. You CANNOT do this outside the US. You legally MUST do it within the US. Such people get a court date. Due to republican obstructionism, that court date could be five years in the future. You then get released into the US. You are now a legal refugee seeker - but you cannot legally work. At that point you have several choices: 1) Die 2) Go on assistance programs 3) Work illegally Most people choose 3). Which is honestly what I would do if I was an asylum seeker. THAT is where most illegal aliens come from. And we are going to have that problem until republicans get the hell out of the way.

I don't particular see it getting better either. And I see opposition growing and with it the demonization of immigrants and with it a rising comfort in treating them like dogs. I understand there is no easy answer. But choosing to treat people humanely is a minimum we should strive for.

Increase funding for border patrol, for autonomous patrols (drones) and for hiring more border patrol agents. Hire enough legal people and INS people to process the people we get. Fund biometric scanning and processing to find the repeat offenders and the criminals from other countries. Increase funding for flights back to their place of origin (for the criminals.) Allow people who apply for asylum to legally work while their cases are being decided. Allow people who have a history of work (and no history of crime) to apply for citizenship if their claim is denied.

Was a great way for Turner, in his allegiance to Trump, to notify the Russians this information was being looked at....without having to leak anything at all.

Ahh according to the Governor's office..... Regardless, using human beings at their most powerless as human pawns in a political game is wrong. I don't care who does it. And somebody coming on here using this as some opportunity of a glib "gotcha moment" says more about their character than anything else.

This is funny. I keep saying, you can't handle a system with more than one variable, and you keep proving me right.

How much more American can you get? A SuperBowl parade combined with a mass shooting.
