3 pointsI do wish people would stop calling them conspiracy theories. A scientific theory is a tested, demonstrated, clearly accurate and truthful explanation for observed phenomenon. Relativity, evolution, gravity (still needs work), that sort of thing. The 'Biden Crime Family' isn't a theory. It's a conspiracy FANTASY. Same as "fake moon landing", "Illuminati controls the whole world", "9/11 truthers" and a host of others that are blatant bullshit.

2 pointsFirst post in the Vortex. I have been holding out for years, waiting for enough exposure to the case to hopefully be additive here. FlyJack - I have always admired how you reference your assertions. I'm a big fan and grateful that you have always tried to keep the facts in focus… You and a number of others have really pushed my thinking on this case over the years. I very much appreciate everyone's contributions, the good and the bad. On this one, I think Cooper's initial intent was to have the airstairs lowered after takeoff. As you have referenced: 1) This was the initial instruction relayed by the crew. 2) G.H confirmed this in specifically writing down “aft stairs lowered in inflight”. I think further support of Cooper’s intent for having airstairs lowered after take off could be implied by the following: Cooper had presumed the airstairs were lowered by the flight crew. Having that presumption, I think Cooper had given Florence, Alice and Tina the impression that Tina would be leaving the plane before take-off. Cooper would have no further need for Tina after takeoff if he was relying on the Cabin to operate the stairs for him. Florence is noted as asking Cooper the plural of can the “stewardesses” exit the plane. Florence told Tina “he said we can go” This leads me to believe Tina was included in Flo's request for the stewardesses to exit. Tina anticipated exiting and assured Flo that she would be with them in a second. After Flo and Alice reached the car, Al Lee further radioed the cockpit and said Cooper didn’t really care if Tina got off or not. This is what Flo and Alice were telling Al Lee at that time. Flo and Alice expected Tina to join them for the ride out of there. Summation - I think Cooper initially intended to have airstairs lowered inflight. On the ground he may have decided to have them lowered then out of precaution or he may have been responding to the Crews offer to have them partially open. Ref- Tina Interview 2 Pg. 1 pointOk cool - so people are either progressives or monarchists. Which one are you? Let's see what the other Hitchens has to say: "what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence"

1 pointOf course. And Brent is a liberal since he wants to change our current diverse energy scheme to an all coal future, and he supports the downtrodden, underpriviledged whites against the all-seeing Black Power replacement plans. But in the world of reality where words mean things, progressives generally support change to improve individuals and society as a whole; conservatives want to return to the "golden past" where things were better (in their opinion.) In the Trumpian world, that means "make America great again" where no one was gay or trans, black people and immigrants knew their place, women didn't try to be like men, the country's blood was pure (i.e. mostly white) and no one was woke. To focus people's rage he chooses both internal enemies (liberals, illegal immigrants, trans people) and external enemies (refugees, gangs, NATO and the UN) for them to rail against. Only he can protect them from all these enemies both foreign and domestic! In post-World-War-1 Germany, the country was reeling under crippling sanctions from the victorious European countries. Germany had dropped from being one of Europe's most prosperous countries to a third world hellhole where even basic services were unaffordable. Along came Hitler who promised to bring back the old Germany, where the German people were free of sanctions, immigrants and the New World Order of a Europe united against them. He did this by choosing an internal enemy (the Jews) and blaming them for Germany's problems, as well as external enemies (the more liberal European countries.) That, of course, allowed him to sell himself as the solution to all these threats. This similiarity is why Trump's language is so similar to Hitler's - same approach, same goals.

1 pointAn opinion piece in The Hill is your "evidence?" As an opinion piece tends to be it is a little heavy on conjecture, but at least did mention that Shokin was generally disliked for not doing enough to fight against corruption. His commentary, without backing of any evidence, that in this case though he was really, really close to actually doing something rings a little hollow don't you think? As has been pointed out a few times, removing Shokin was a policy goal even from camps not "controlled" by Biden and likely prior to Hunter getting a "job" on the board.

1 pointAnd Theodore Roosevelt also considered himself to be a progressive. Maybe we let people define themselves instead of assigning them to small-minded boxes Wendy P.

1 pointYeah all those lefties channeling Hitler, cautioning against the poisoning of the American bloodline.

1 pointI agree with your logic to some extent. However, since 2020 we have seen quite a big rise in extremism globally. People are strange and if you can radicalise them on one hand and instil fear in the others you can tilt the scales.

1 pointPopular vote: 2016 =========== Clinton 65,853,625 Trump 62,985,106 -------------------- difference 2,868,519 2020 =========== Biden 81,283,501 Trump 74,223,975 -------------------- difference 7,059,526 It is hard to see how the Trump could get additional votes after Jan 6. ETA: And in 2020 Trump was the incumbent, which is normally an advantage.

1 pointNot reported, he addressed it head on and released his academic file. Shows mediocre grades and mixed reviews from professors. That shows balls and an ability to face adversity and deal with it. The university at the time investigated and ruled at the time. You would think that if this is such a huge issue for you, you would know this. https://www.nytimes.com/1987/09/18/us/biden-admits-plagiarism-in-school-but-says-it-was-not-malevolent.html This has been debunked so many times now. Makes me wonder if your claim of high regard for intellectual honesty has any truth at all.

1 pointHello everyone. My wife and I have just started our pre-skydiving journey. We’ve got to hit the gym before we can book our AFF, so we’ve started to clock up some tunnel time. I was 320lb a few years ago, I’m currently sat at 230lb and dropping, Slowly. About six months ago I realised that I might be able to hit the weight limit for skydiving, for the first time in my adult life. It’s been a great motivator. My wife is an office worker in her early fifties and got the bug a few weeks ago on our first visit to iFly. She’s gone from ‘No way could I jump out of a plane’ to ‘I’m not doing a tandem. If I do it, I want to try AFF level 1’. She’s all in on bodyflight, but still a bit unsure if she’s got what it takes to take up skydiving. We’ve started a YouTube channel because we’re narcissists who are trying to leverage our videos for free stuff and invites to cool events. However, we also want to make something that’s informative, factually accurate, entertaining and community focused. Any advice that you have would be very gratefully received. Here’s our first video :https://youtu.be/Ey9x48oI5LQ?si=UEtk8oJ0_BYkBFuF. We’ve been twice since then, so I’ve got a bit of an editing backlog. It took a while to learn the editing software.
