Examples please? Ones that hold up in our court system, that is? After all, free speech says you can say anything, but that doesn’t make it true Wendy P.

SAE just completed its NACS EV charging standard, which is a big deal for a few reasons. First off, the NACS standard was formerly the Tesla standard, and thus hostage to an angry man-child who might (for example) pull it from the market if someone claimed it was woke. With the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) behind it, it's now here to stay, and will be revised as needed by that organization. (I predict this will, very shortly, lead to Tesla not following the NACS standard because it's not "theirs" any more - but it's a little too late for that. In the long run they will have to.) Second this standard supports simple charge-point outlets that look like the old Mennekes outlets common in the EU. This means two things. One, they will be easy to embed in things like parking meters without needing a cord along with all the cord-management hardware. Two, they will be harder to vandalize; vandals will no longer be able to cut off the charging cable and take it to a recycling center to make a few cents. This will lead to more working charge points around. (The cable will come with the car, and will cost perhaps $200 to replace if needed.) Third this standard extends the old 120 - 240 volt standard all the way up to 277 volts. 277 volts is the phase to neutral voltage of a 480 volt three phase supply, which is the standard power feed to things like large apartment buildings, big box stores and medium size industrial buildings. This means no transformer needed to install chargers, and each charger will have to carry less current (25% less) leading to cheaper wiring, chargers and fixtures. Installers will run wiring directly from the building's power feed to the chargers without needing that big transformer. Overall these changes will mean more charging stations installed and fewer broken stations once they are installed - as well as lower operating costs for the company providing the charging.

I planted thousands of apple trees 2 weeks ago and they've produced zero apples so far. At this rate we will see the heat death of the universe before a single fruit has grown!! Grocery Stores are a scam! I gave my wife the grocery list and $200 a few mins ago and have no groceries in my pantry WTF? $200 is already gone from my wallet, you'd have to be delusional to make a list for groceries.

Let's hope no one ever "free speeches" your car into a ditch in that case!

Turtle pops up from nowhere and doesn't even know the proper slander term for the POTUS. It is now "The Biden Crime Family". Get with the R program.

I think other people summed up the outrage pretty well. I had posted here not in the Blue Skies thread, because of the Trump/Taylor connection reminding me of Andy. I expected a decent amount of political commentary, but wanted to remember a great person with a big heart and I miss the spirited discussions with him about politics and world views. He passed away just before Trump got into office. For his last Christmas he had mentioned to someone that all he wanted for Christmas was a young beautiful blond - He got given a Barbie doll!

Timeline.. FIRST Transmission of demands. 6:21 PST (before) Pass loading door open and airstairs lowered after takeoff 6:15 PST (18:15 CST ) Aft door open and aft stairs lowered inflight. CONFIRMS ABOVE TRANSMISSION 6:38 PST (before) Wants girl to manipulate stairs after airborne Have tried to tell him (how) to operate stairs to lowered after takeoff Trying to get him to let us lower stairs partially for takeoff (The crew may have initiated stairs lowered on takeoff as they were trying to get Tina off the plane, it isn't clear) 6:35 PST Wants one girl to lower stairs. (Cooper still wants lowered in flight) Soderlind wants stairs locked at takeoff.. responding to above crew suggestion to partially lower/lock, 6:59 PST (before) Cooper still wants Tina to stay. Insists stairs in 1 deg.. (That may mean airstairs unlocked OR they mixed up AFT DOOR open with AFT STAIRS open) Still wants girl to initiate lowering of stairs. This doesn't make sense if Cooper wanted the stairs down on takeoff. 7:05 (before) Advised Cooper.. can't takeoff with door down 7:22 (before) Has agreed to takeoff with stairs in full upright position. 100% fact.. Cooper's initial demand was airstairs lowered in flight.. The crew first suggested stairs partially open to get Tina off the plane. It isn't clear what Cooper actually wanted, either Cooper agreed to have the stairs partially open for takeoff then the crew had to convince him have them closed OR the communication between Cooper and the crew via Tina conflated the "open aft door" and the "open aft stairs".. The crew may have misunderstood Cooper's demands passing through TIna.. perhaps Cooper was insisting the aft (bulkhead) door open and the message going through Tina was received as aft stair open. it isn't clear as we only have what the crew believed. But, this is supported by the fact that he still wanted Tina to lower the stairs and that doesn't make sense if Cooper wanted the stairs down on takeoff.
