You want to see what the difference in what public records looks like of a serial liar phony secret agent vs. that of an actual secret agent?

That assumes that they’re able to think past the current news cycle, which I think is giving them more credit than they deserve.

Hi folks, I have known Joe Weber for over 30 yrs. Anyone who jumps at his dz knows that he runs a tight ship. If you do not follow the rules, you are gone. End of discussion. He has had fatalities; it is part of skydiving. After each & every one, he took absolute corrective action to do his best to prevent anymore. Jerry Baumchen PS) There are a lot of things Joe & do not agree on, c'est la vie.

SO Johnson gets the gavel. Wants to criminalize abortion, against LBGQT rights, worked had to overturn Biden's election. All around asshole.

Not sure these scumbags should get off scot free with a plea deal. They were neck deep in it, and would have been looking forward to a successful outcome of Trumps scheme. Nothing could have happened without their involvement. We are seeing crocodile tears and false repentance. They all need to see the inside of a jail cell.

I thought I had SlimKing on ignore, but I guess I didn't. After the long underwear comment, I definitely have him on ignore. Completely delusional. My consistent oberservation about the delusional people in the Vortex is "What other things in the world are they delusional about?" Flat earth? Bigfoot, the CIA, etc. He can try to post on the Facebook group but he won't last long over there.

For sure. Like with Sydney Powell breaking into the election machines, tampering with them, stealing voter data and causing damage that cost a lot of money to put right. Those criminal acts were her idea and she carried them out. With support and financing from Trump, yes, but it's not like she was just a mindless henchman carrying out the bosses orders, and I think she got very, very lucky with her sentence. (Edit: at least we can hope she'll be bankrupted forever by the lawsuits though.) Plus, what's it going to look like if everyone gets a sweetheart plea deal then only Trump is locked up? That'd be some fuel for the "political prosecution!" Maga crowd.

Yes. Filling in the pond and disallowing greater than 180° turns in the high performance area stopped the problem. It certainly made a number of folks unhappy but so does strongly enforcing no off DZ landings (even wingsuiters) and demanding that everyone on the load land in the same direction even if the first person down screws it up and other safety issues. I wouldn't say one was too many. After the Pro hooked it in short of the pond I tried to keep some level of perspective. The final straw was when someone did it right. That is he hooked it in such a way that he if he misjudged he would hit the water. The problem was he did not per the rules make it known he was going "pond side" so someone could watch for safety. He hit the water so hard he was knocked unconscious and were it not for an aware packer who sprinted down and pulled him out he would have drowned. After thinking about that for a while I realized there would be only one way to stop swooping injuries and fatalities and took appropriate action.

Will the Secret Service agents be in the cell with him or sitting outside. I think I'd call in sick.

As that group expands, it is going to pull in more cranks, kooks, crazies, and those folks who are very new to the case, yet very opinionated about it. I think EU wants it that way: more and more people, so those issues are going to get worse unless he decides to do something about it. In the meantime, I'd like to see the private Research Group become an oasis for smart, serious, affable researchers. I'd love for you to be more active on there, P-Head.

Oh but it wasn't just the fine. He had to take the witness stand, tell his story and then be called a liar by the judge. That hurts his frail ego so much more than the fine. He will fundraise off the fine and make it a 100 times over by tonight.

You would gain a lot more traction over on the Facebook group, with all the others that have dumb theories. You're kinda just wasting your time here.

please correct me if i'm wrong, it happens, but i haven't seen anyone that i recall talking about banning swooping. i do see quite a few comments asking for an answer to a question which never came along with talk about having the uspa stop promoting swooping, but that is reasonable. kind of like the way they used to use joe camel to promote kids smoking. it wasn't set up for that to happen, but that was an unintended consequence which later became illegal, or at least was stopped by someone. maybe a better analogy would be they way they stopped putting smoking in every movie and tv show and stopped showing ads for it on tv.

Let's just say your success record at making predictions is, well, absolutely abysmal. Russia taking Ukraine "by Sunday" in February last year? "Not going to be much longer" with the convoy to Kyiv? And don't say "you didn't take into account Western countries helping Ukraine", because you'd be an idiot to fail to predict that would happen. Oh wait...
  24. 1 point
No he didn't. But Ukraine have offered him the chance to do it from the very start. At any time he could withdraw from Ukraine, and they will let him. So he really should, shouldn't he?
  25. 1 point
Yes, the Russian troops storming forwards wave after wave, day after day in Adiivka and other places are quite zombie like.

But the capability of the Russian military is not. And that's still Ukraine fighting with one hand tied behind its back, since the best long range weapons are still to be supplied. Soon Ukraine will be able to deny Russia the use of Crimea altogether without even having to cross the Dnipro. That's what the money is buying. By the way, Ukraine never promised to win the war this year. They've been very careful to caution the west that the advance would not be like the 2022 counteroffensive that happened before Russia constructed any defensive lines. You're either lying again, or just tragically misinformed. In this case I'll go for the latter.

This seems like it's going to be the case no matter who gets chosen. And as Trump points out above - maybe that's because there really isn't a single unified Republican party anymore. There is at least the Maga party and the traditional GOP / RINO party (depending on your point of view), and they no longer appear to have very much of a connection with each other. In that case, the Democrats actually have a plurality in the House, and could easily argue that Hakeem Jeffries is the front runner for Speaker. The traditional GOP, who will sooner or later have to come to terms with being a small minority party in this House, just need to decide who to join a coalition with - the Maga crazies who hate them or the grown up Democrats who'll work with them.

Nope. He married Jill Jacobs. a subsitute teacher, after his wife died - and they have been together ever since. Let's compare that to your hero. Trump married Ivana Marie Zelníčková, a Czech socialite and a model, in 1977. In 1989 Trump started banging Marla Maples. He had the locks changed on Ivana's office to keep his wife out, then divorced her a year later. He then took her to court to void their pre-nups so he wouldn't have to pay her anything. Trump married his mistress Marla Maples in 1993. She was an actress and a model. Trump started banging topless model Melanija Knavs in 1998. (Fun fact - Melanija came to the US in 1996 and was an illegal immigrant at that point, working and being paid without a visa.) Trump and Marla divorced in 1999. Trump married Melanija in 2005. Melania (new name) then chain-immigrated her family into the US. Trump banged playboy model Karen McDougal in 2006 - then paid her hush money to cover it up. Trump then banged porn star Stormy Daniels while Melania was home with their newborn baby. He also paid her to cover it up. How sad that you think the Biden story is unsavory, but Trump's is just fine.

Hi Jerry, I believe you are correct that 'presidential immunity' has never been formally ruled upon. Nixon was pardoned, so he was never charged (there's a hell of a debate about the validity of it, but that's "a whole 'nuther" thing). The main reason it's never been ruled upon is that we've NEVER had a President commit the crimes that Trump did. Kind of like how there's no prohibition against convicted felons being President. Because, apparently, the founding fathers never realized we'd be stupid enough to elect one. Fun fact: If Powell wasn't Trump's attorney, 'attorney-client privilege' can't be claimed. So she's free to testify about anything they discussed.

Incredible. Also this from another report - "Trump and Pratt developed a relationship after Trump won power in 2016 and Pratt joined Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s members club in Florida. In 2019, Trump attended the opening of a Pratt Industries plant in Wapakoneta, Ohio, also attended by Scott Morrison, then the Australian prime minister." For everyone up in arms about the unsubstantiated allegations that Hunter Biden tried to get his dad on the phone with people who'd given him money - this guy paid a ton of money directly to Donald Trump's own business after Donald Trump was elected President, and in return he received nuclear secrets and an official visit from 2 world leaders to his business. And that's just what we know of.
