It was a D-18 over Coolidge Arizona. We first started “hang loads” as we named it in 1976, made the headlines in 1977. Carl Boenish did the filming at Coolidge in 1977. Tony Gonzales took the famous photos that made the news paper’s and posters. That’s me on the wing, white suit blue rig with WSCR patch. I have been answering questions and Bull Shit statements about what happened for many years. So many people who were not there and only heard rumors think they know it all.

But a woman (Clinton) also beat Trump in the popular vote. Thank the last institutional relic of the slavery era (EC) for installing the loser into the Whitehouse.

On the top image. The serial might not be the top bill with the possible rubber band, it is the number on the right side but the top of the packet doesn't look fully intact.

I ran across this photo in some items.my Dad had saved. Print is dated Dec '77 and have 10 slides as well. Photographer's address is Phoenix Arizona. The tail number lists plane was damaged in a crash years later. My Dad was heavily involved in various aspects of Rockety, Space Art & Smithsonian Museum. I'm trying to figure out what the connection was to these. Any ideas or avenues to persue?

BTW - to the inspecting rigger... <HINT> You can only actually find broken inner bands and dropped stitching by taking the safety stow out of the freebag and... um... INSPECTING it... </HINT> Just sayin... JW
