"I am not a sheep! WAKE UP SHEEPLE!" say the people who take livestock dewormer and go to churches where they are literally told they are sheep.

The first step to making most canopies open softer is to roll the nose. If you want to roll-pack the entire canopy, then look at the Strong Dual Hawk packing manual. I have seen a few civilians roll-pack an entire canopy by laying the canopy on its side and rolling the nose past the B lines. Then they grab all the steering lines and roll them forward past the C lines.

It's impressive how often you pat your own back and praise yourself here. Not only are you a gymnast, but a contortionist too! It's like our very own Cirque du Soleil.

Just like you debunked the "Biden won the election" and "the climate is warming" things. That works great for a while. But eventually reality has a way of catching up with you.

Swing voters don't vote in primaries, and the pols rely on the average attention span of a US voter to be measured in hours, not months.

Trump's 2024 platform: GUNS, GAYS AND GIRLS!!! The saddest part of it all (the U.S. political scene) is what we ALL have to choose from. Can you say WE NEED SERIOUS REFORM?!?! The two party system doesn't work any longer.

I'm curious, other than the potential financial impact on DZs, particularly small 182 DZs (and I'm on record saying the 182 will always be my favorite plane to jump), what are the downsides of this proposal? I am having a hard time understanding why improved safety regulations that are consistent with all other commercial operations is such a bad thing? Speaking only for myself, I would be more than happy to pay an extra $5-10 per jump to know that the aircraft, pilot training, etc. are being held to higher standards. So unless someone can explain to me how this will have negative consequences beyond cost, I can only conclude that USPA opposes it because it is bad for business.

I’ve bought gear here, but not sold it. A local rigger (maybe Mark or Brian) can tell you a fair asking price if you’re still in the area (I’m a Jumptown jumper). An inspection costs money, but you can add it to the price. If it’s the rig in your profile, that’s a popular size — have you posted it at the DZ’s closest to you? Because selling it locally can be the easiest. There are people who can broker the deal; often it’s a local trusted rigger; in the Atlanta area, Chuting Star brokers deals I’m told. Basically after the agreement, they hold the rig and receive the money, then forward each to the rightful location. There’s a New England Skydiving Gear Facebook group, to go along with the national skydiving gear for sale group. Good luck; I hope it’s new and fun horizons that are causing the rig sale. Wendy P.
